The two of them discussed it and decided that since they were already out, they might as well go home first, pack up what they needed, and move over to live there for convenience.
So, they went home for a quick tidy-up. There really wasn't much to bring—just their clothes, some computer files they might need, and whatever else they might require could be picked up anytime later.
