Bai Zhi felt that finding a rolling pin in a Western country was quite peculiar. She didn't know whether it was already there or had to be found elsewhere, but anyway, they really got one, and pretty quickly too.
Once the tool was found, Bai Zhi continued her work – rolling out the dough, wrapping the filling, and then putting it into the pan.
Things that seemed complicated were so simple in her hands.
"President, the midnight snack is ready. Come over and eat."
Duan Xingzhi got up to wash his hands and then sat down at the dining table.
"Didn't cook anything special, just a simple meal."
Duan Xingzhi lowered his head slightly to take a sniff and said, "Smells great."
Bai Zhi handed him a spoon, "No chopsticks, just use this."
The food had just come out of the pot and was still a bit hot, so Duan Xingzhi didn't eat immediately and asked, "Do you have an older brother?"
"Yeah, I have a brother, five years older, working back home."
"Does your brother not take care of you?"
