Duan Xingzhi furrowed his brow, "Why?"
Bai Zhi held a hint of a smile at the corners of her mouth, looking completely unconcerned, "No reason, I just don't like you anymore."
Duan Xingzhi's furrowed brow slowly relaxed. Unhurriedly, he poured himself a complimentary cup of barley tea and said, "No rush, I'll just make you fall for me again."
"Heh..." Bai Zhi let out a cold laugh, snatched the teapot from his hand, poured herself a cup, took a sip, and then said, "Don't be so full of yourself, okay? Not all women have to like you, especially someone like me who's seen your true colors—it's hard to fall for you again."
"My true colors? Then tell me, what are my true colors?"
Just as he asked, the waiter brought the hot pot base over. Bai Zhi had a cold, so her nose wasn't working well, but just looking at that hot pot base roused her appetite.
She hadn't ordered a lot; the vegetables and such were all in a platter. Ordering too much of some things would just go to waste.
