"What are you doing? Let me go." Bai Zhi tried to struggle, yet she longed for his embrace.

Duan Xingzhi wouldn't listen to her. Instead, he tightened his arms around her.
"Stop it, let me hold you for a while."
His voice was low and slightly hoarse, carrying a touch of sadness that was hard to refuse.
