After the incident Xiao and Midoriya were scolded by the Pro Heroes for being careless, but for Xiao apart from being scolded, he got interviewed by some reporter because he freed Bakugo from the Villain's control easily that even a Pro Heroes at the scene had a headache to handle it before.
"Actually, if not for my friend over there I wouldn't be able to save that explody guy successfully."
Xiao said it while he is pointing at Midoriya when he said 'my friend over there' to the reporter, even though the reporter doesn't believe it, the reporter still appreciated what he had just said and also begin to interview Midoriya.
After the interview was over, Xiao and Midoriya walked out from the crowd of reporters, and because it was getting dark, Midoriya invited Tora to have a dinner at his house.
Xiao actually wanted to refuse the invitation, but then he said that he need to return to orphanage and tell the others first that he'll be out for a bit, and then head to Midoriya's house afterward to have a dinner.
He wasn't planning to interrupt Midoriya's encounter, and also, he has more 'important things' to do at orphanage.
After he returned to the orphanage, there was an excited little girl come to greet him with a hugging full of warmth.
"ONI-CHAN WELCOME BACK!! ETTO…. KLEE SAW YOU ON TV AND DO THE SWIRL-SWIRL TO THE BAD GUY AND SAVE...."
Yeah, the 'important things' to do was to be greeted by his cute little sister Klee-chan, although she's not his real little sister, he already considered her as his little sister.
"Klee-chan, tell the others that brother will be going out to brother's friend's house." Xiao said it while hugging back his cute little sister with a warmth smile on his face.
"ONI-CHAN WILL BE TAKEN AWAY?!! NOO ONI-CHAN DON'T LEAVE KLEE AND THE OTHERS ALONE… HIKS…HIKS." The saddened Klee-chan was looked so cute but pitiful, so that whoever makes her sad looked like the worst person ever.
"No klee-chan, Brother really sorry, Brother would never leave Klee-chan and the others, okay? And Brother will just go for a bit, like an hour or two, and will be back as soon as possible." Xiao with an apologetic face said it sincerely to Klee-chan.
"Really? Oni-chan would not be taken and leave klee and the others alone like Ganyu nee-chan right?" Klee-chan said it with her teary puppy eyes.
"Of course."
"Pinky promise?"
"Pinky promise, don't forget to tell others okay? Klee-chan."
"OKAY Oni-chan." Klee-chan started to regain her happy mood again.
'Oh my God my heart almost fell out'. Now he was relieved that he didn't make a big fuss at orphanage, or else he might get punished by sister Jean.
On the way to Midoriya's house, Xiao suddenly meet up with Bakugo who keeps mumbling about 'damn nerd.' like that, at first, he wanted to greet him but discarded the idea because seeing that Bakugo didn't seem want to be bothered.
After walking about ten minutes, he saw Midoriya was having a chat with the skinny All Might, although he knows what they were talking about, Xiao rush over there while pretending he didn't hear/know anything about their conversation.
"Midoriya!!... why are you still here? Eh.. why are you crying? Oi Old Gramps over there, is this your doing?"
"Eh... Old Gramps? I think there seems to be a bit misunderstanding here shounen, we just have a chit chat here." the skinny All Might trying to explain the misunderstand that happened here.
