Chapter 1255 - Need Some Help?

After preparing everything, Yi Tianyun returned, feeling quite satisfied. He still needed to regroup with the Divine Spirit Race and see what Patriarch Ji had to say once he awoke.

"I hope the Divine Spirit Race can join the Three Realms. It would significantly enhance our overall strength!"

Yi Tianyun could only think about it for now. Whether he could persuade the Divine Spirit Race to join depended on what Patriarch Ji would say. If it didn't work out, there was nothing he could do. Awakening the power within Ye Qingxuan and the others was already quite beneficial.

He soon arrived near the planet where the Divine Spirit Race was hiding. Just as he arrived, he heard the sounds of explosions.

"Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Yi Tianyun looked up and saw two powerful God Monarchs from the Evil Spirit Race attacking the planet ferociously. The planet was shaking violently, with its surface already partially destroyed, but the internal palace remained intact.

However, with such a fierce assault, no matter how sturdy the palace was, it would eventually show cracks. After all, these were two God Monarchs attacking. The palace could only endure so much.

Numerous Evil Spirit Race members surrounded them, completely encircling the area. The rest of the Evil Spirit Race members had lower cultivation levels but were still Earth Monarchs and Heaven Monarchs.

They were part of a formidable army, a top-notch unit even among the Three Realm's forces. Now, they had gathered around the planet, watching closely for any Divine Spirit Race members trying to escape.

"Damn it, we've been searching for so long, and they still elude us. They must be hiding somewhere here!"

"That's possible. The Divine Spirit Race is very adept at hiding. I could still sense some traces earlier. They might have returned or are hiding inside!"

The two Evil Spirit Race God Monarchs hadn't found the Divine Spirit Race's traces and could only vent their frustration on the planet. They were highly sensitive to the Divine Spirit Race's presence, likely detecting remnants of their aura left behind when the Divine Spirit Race members ventured outside, leading the Evil Spirit Race back here.

Despite a thorough search, they found nothing, so they continued their relentless bombardment, hoping to force the Divine Spirit Race out.

Inside the planet, the Divine Spirit Race members wore grave expressions. They were facing a life-and-death crisis!

"Elder Ji Yu, what should we do? They've come back!" Ji Shui Lian and the others looked distressed. Who would have thought they would return? They had assumed the Evil Spirit Race wouldn't come back, but they did.

These Evil Spirit Race members were not particularly smart, but they had blundered into the right place!

Elders Ji Yu and Ji Yue had not yet fully recovered, and the other elders were missing. The patriarch had not awakened. With two God Monarchs and numerous Evil Spirit Race members outside, rushing out would mean certain defeat.

Their foundation was strong, but it was useless in their current state. Powerful weapons required powerful cultivation to unleash their full potential.

Their current state was poor, and they hadn't yet recovered. If they fought now, they would lose.

"Someone must have left a trace of their aura when we went out to check the situation, and it wasn't cleaned properly…" Elder Ji Yu said gravely. A minor oversight had plunged them into this crisis.

"It was me..."

A young Divine Spirit Race member knelt on the ground, crying, "It's my fault. I forgot to erase my aura, putting the clan in danger."

The other Divine Spirit Race members turned to look at the young clan member, who was known for being careless and never expected to be the reason the Evil Spirit Race discovered them.

"Sigh..."

They all sighed deeply. What could they do now? Blaming him was pointless. The situation was already set. The priority was finding a solution, whether to keep hiding or to fight their way out and escape.

They hesitated, unsure if hiding would work, hoping the attackers would eventually leave.

"It seems we'll have to fight," Elder Ji Yu said sternly. "If they keep attacking like this, this place won't hold out. We must break through, and some of us may escape."

They weren't invincible. This place was strong but not indestructible. Given the current situation, it could last a few days or maybe a week before collapsing completely.

A few days or a week wouldn't make much difference.

"Alright, we'll do it," Elder Ji Yue agreed. "We'll force our way out, and you all scatter and escape. Don't group together. The future of the Divine Spirit Race depends on you!"

"Elders..."

Their eyes reddened. If they charged out, the two elders were unlikely to survive.

"Don't be sad. As long as you live, there's hope! If you find Brother Tianyun, escape with him. Although the patriarch hasn't awakened, I hope you'll leave with him rather than joining another force!"

They had decided to join Yi Tianyun, believing it would be safer. Many clan members had been saved by him, and staying with Yi Tianyun promised greater safety.

"Right, there's Young Master Tianyun. Maybe he can rescue us!" Ji Shui Lian suddenly remembered Yi Tianyun's powers and thought he might sneak in to save them.

"There are two God Monarchs outside. Do you think he can easily break in? Even with a puppet, it looks like they won't stop. This is an Evil Spirit Race army, and unless he's part of it, he can't intervene," Elder Ji Yue shook his head, knowing the rules of the Evil Spirit Race.

Even as a Holy Son, Yi Tianyun's puppet couldn't interfere. And the generals outranked the Holy Son, having the final say.

They fell silent, realizing they might have to fight.

While they were considering, Yi Tianyun had already flown in, entering the sight of the many Evil Spirit Race members, appearing to stroll leisurely.

"A human?" They were startled to see a figure silently appear, catching them off guard.

None of them, not even the two generals, had sensed him coming.

"What are you doing? Need some help?" Yi Tianyun grinned, looking utterly harmless.
