Led by the two Domain Lords, their forces charged straight toward the Three Realms God Domain. They could no longer be bothered with Yi Tianyun, leaving him behind as if he were an afterthought.
This was essentially handing an opportunity to other God Domains—but would any of them dare seize it? Even the two strongest God Domains had failed. Unless Yi Tianyun personally handed over the Token Core, they believed no one could take it from him.
The scouts from the observing God Domains looked at one another in disbelief. Such a situation was truly unprecedented. It could only be said that the Domain Lord of the Three Realms God Domain was far too heaven-defying—his individual combat strength was simply top-tier.
Yet in their eyes, relying on a single cultivator's strength alone would spell doom once entering the Inner God Domain. Unless he immediately joined another God Domain as a backer—but doing so would mean wasting a God Domain slot.
Ascending upward meant gaining an additional God Domain territory, along with far greater resources to enjoy. Joining another faction would grant access to resources, but owning a fourth-grade God Domain meant those resources would belong entirely to oneself. Which outcome was better went without saying.
That was precisely why they chose to preserve their forces. Unless there were helpers waiting in the Inner God Domain to receive them, the meaning would be roughly the same.
Watching their figures rapidly depart, Yi Tianyun immediately gave chase—but not toward Domain Lord Shengfeng and Domain Lord Wantian. Instead, he went straight for the God Monarch–level cultivators.
"Spread out! Everyone spread out!"
They shouted frantically, ordering their subordinates to disperse and avoid clustering, lest they be cut down too quickly.
"So it's finally come to this—should've done it earlier!" Domain Lord Wantian's gaze turned icy. "Wipe out their God Domain. Even if he ascends later, what can one man accomplish? Have the senior brothers wipe out that weak faction!"
If Yi Tianyun succeeded, it would mean their failure. The ending wouldn't be pleasant—but at least the difficulty would be reduced, leaving only Yi Tianyun able to ascend from the Three Realms God Domain.
Their speed increased further. Yi Tianyun continued slaughtering from behind, killing them one by one. Because they had dispersed, it took more time to wipe them out.
It was like being slowly devoured bit by bit—and the more it happened, the more it made the two Domain Lords' hearts ache. These were elite experts they had painstakingly cultivated at great cost. Watching them die one after another—how could they not feel pain?
Before long, they were about to reach the Three Realms God Domain. As a first-grade God Domain, it didn't take long to travel from the Mortal Domains to reach it.
"We're finally there! Trample them flat—wipe them out completely, leave no one alive!" Domain Lord Wantian and the others had gone mad, their eyes bloodshot as they prepared for a massacre.
In their imagination, the Three Realms God Domain had no real experts left. The strongest should have been Yi Tianyun himself. Under such circumstances, wiping it out would be effortless.
The rest of their subordinates were equally bloodthirsty—finally able to avenge their fallen companions. More than anything, it was humiliation. Being completely dominated by a cultivator from a first-grade God Domain—how could that not be humiliating?
And what could they do about it? They could only stand aside and be slaughtered. Under such circumstances, their mood could only sink further.
"Kill them! Wipe them all out!"
One after another, they roared in unison, the fury in their hearts practically shooting from their eyes.
Behind them, Yi Tianyun continued harvesting lives one by one. Though he looked anxious, he couldn't accelerate any further.
"Despair. Your turn to despair is coming very soon."
Cruel smiles spread across their faces—they wanted nothing more than to see Yi Tianyun's despair and unwillingness.
Just as they stormed inside, a cold light suddenly drifted in from all directions. Several God Monarchs were instantly dismembered, dying on the spot.
Immediately after, countless tree branches transformed into sharp swords, piercing through the air and impaling many God Monarchs. One Heavenly Venerable was even instantly killed. Dense branches formed something like a towering wall, blocking their advance completely.
At that moment, they sensed two terrifying auras appear ahead. Upon closer inspection, they were shocked to find two mid-grade Heavenly Venerables, each stronger than the last!
"Mid-grade Heavenly Venerables? Weren't there supposed to be no experts?"
Their hearts turned cold. They instantly realized their intelligence had been completely wrong.
Or rather, the information gathered by their scouts was entirely flawed. From what they had learned, the strongest figures were supposedly just two—the Domain Lord Tianyun, and the Domain Lord Liu Li.
They didn't know how strong Yi Tianyun truly was, but they were well aware of Domain Lord Liu Li—a cultivator who had only just broken through to the Heavenly Venerable realm. In their eyes, she was little more than a child.
Now, with two mid-grade Heavenly Venerables appearing, they felt utterly deceived. Who said the Three Realms God Domain had no reinforcements? Two mid-grade Heavenly Venerables alone made this force anything but weak!
"Boom!"
A violent power erupted through the void, suppressing everything. The two Domain Lords' hearts jolted as they immediately unleashed their strongest defenses to block it.
But that berserk force condensed into a brutal fist, shattering layers of space as it slammed toward them. With a single blow, both were sent flying, blood spraying from their mouths!
"U–Upper-grade Heavenly Venerable?"
After being blown back, they hurriedly stabilized their internal energy and began healing. Compared to their injuries, what shocked them far more was that the Three Realms God Domain actually had an upper-grade Heavenly Venerable as support!
This was utterly inconceivable. Even they could at most invite a single upper-grade Heavenly Venerable—and only at an enormous cost.
Yet the Three Realms God Domain possessed one upper-grade Heavenly Venerable and two mid-grade Heavenly Venerables—far beyond anything they had imagined.
"A trap?"
They were completely dumbfounded. Earlier, they had thought Yi Tianyun was fighting them outside to prevent the battlefield from reaching the Three Realms God Domain. Now it seemed like a complete deception. With three Heavenly Venerables guarding the place, what fight was there to be had? Just one upper-grade Heavenly Venerable alone was enough to suppress them completely.
Even if they couldn't be killed, they wouldn't even be able to enter—they would be blocked outside entirely. Seizing the Token Core had become unimaginably difficult.
However, Yi Tianyun fighting alone outside had never been a trap. He genuinely intended to face them himself, to prevent the flames of war from engulfing the Three Realms God Domain too soon.
"Harvesting begins…"
As Yi Tianyun caught up, a cold smile appeared on his face. His figure flashed rapidly, and with each flicker of light, another God Monarch was effortlessly slain!
Within a God Domain, not only was damage greatly amplified, but movement speed also surged—making him practically unstoppable. Of course, movement still had limits, with brief cooldowns remaining.
But that didn't matter now.
What truly mattered was this—
Leaving every last one of them here.
