"What's the point of this?" Bell said sullenly. She is sitting on the passenger seat of a rented car that could blend in the background.
The girls and Lorcan usually use either the bondsman's car or a rented car on a hunt. They never use their car on a hunt to keep their identity.
"We cannot just drop this case because of the assumption that Silas is dead. Unless we found his grave and brought his bones to Brady." Lorcan replied. Brady is the bondsman who hasn't lost his hope of finding Silas even after twenty years. He is probably one of the oldest bondsmen that Lorcan knows.
After Briony, Brina, and Bianca searched the whole planet for Silas using Brina's software, they informed Bell that morning about what they had found out and the possibility that their target was already dead. They also searched for Silas's relatives but it turns out that Silas doesn't have any known relatives. But they found some distant relatives based on Silas' DNA. But they doubt if Silas knows them.
