"Alusna tingali heula budakna," (Sebaiknya saya periksa dulu keadaan putrinya,) saran ibu penulis.
"Saena jantenkeun wae.
Penantian Ini Layak Diperjuangkan
Dulu kita sudah terbiasa dengan
Selalu menunggu, menunggu
Berharap ada seseorang yang datang
Untuk melengkapi kisah hidup ini
Terlalu sulit untuk melanjutkan hidup.
Untuk menemukan apa yang selalu kita tunggu-tunggu
Sampai kita bertemu
Tidak ada alasan untuk menunda lagi.
Paduan suara:
Akhirnya, kita bersama.
Setelah menunggu lama
Semoga kamu selalu terjaga
Aaa wo wow
Waktu telah berbicara.
Menunggu bukanlah sia-sia.
Karena kamu ada di sini sekarang
Wowow
Sangat berharga
Bertahan hidup dalam kesendirian
Telah membimbingku untuk menemukanmu
Tanpa ragu-ragu, saya memberikan
However, after getting married, reality revealed a different story. It turned out Imas was a materialistic woman, leaving the author feeling somewhat deceived. It was also later discovered that Imas wasn't a real kindergarten teacher; she had merely participated in a distance learning program.
When the author inquired and complained to others about this materialistic woman's nature, the answer she received was amusing: that, essentially, almost all women are the same: materialistic.
Imas's reason for abandoning her role as a kindergarten teacher was quite unique. During her internship, one of her students developed a discharge from her ear. Imas felt nauseous and wanted to vomit every time she recalled the incident. As a result, she abandoned her plans to become a kindergarten teacher. Furthermore, the learning modules were not purchased.
However, historical justice is reciprocal. Imas actually felt deceived by the author! In the village girl's imagination, marrying a city man who worked at a university would certainly bring a large salary. In reality, the salary at Unisba at that time was relatively low. In conclusion, at the beginning of our relationship, we were deceiving each other.
The long-awaited engagement day arrived. The solidarity of the author's friends was palpable; almost all of his colleagues and friends who owned vehicles accompanied the author's entourage. In short, after a long journey from Bandung, we arrived in Wado, Sumedang.
The author stepped into the house, accompanied by his father and Aki Apung. As he stepped through the door, a young woman emerged from the back room to greet us, shaking each of our hands.
Seeing her face, the author was amazed and thought to himself, "The hostess is already beautiful. I hope my future wife is even more beautiful."
Meanwhile, a humorous misunderstanding occurs at home. Teh Djudju, the wife of Kang Dani (Imas's eldest brother), jokingly introduces to the extended family that Imas's future husband is Aki Apung—a man who is
She was already very old.
Immediately, the atmosphere in the family became gloomy and tense. Aa Ence, Imas's brother-in-law, immediately commented with pity, "Kacida Si Teteh. Sanajan urang kota oge ari kolot-kolot teuing mah karunnya ka Si Salimas," (Si Teteh is too much. Even though she's from the city, she feels sorry for Salimas when she's so old.)
Seeing her family's panicked and gloomy reactions, Si Teteh burst out laughing, enjoying her mischief. However, once the curtain of the misunderstanding was lifted and they discovered that the real suitor was the still-vibrant Writer, the atmosphere immediately transformed into one of joy. The Writer was no less delighted, because it turned out the beautiful girl he had mistaken for a guest earlier was actually Neng Imas, his future wife!
After the formal ceremony concluded, we both agreed to a one-year engagement period. This time would be used to get to know each other's characters before walking down the aisle.
However, fate accelerated everything through a medical exam. One day, I received news that Imas had fallen ill with typhus. She was forced to seek outpatient treatment at her first sister-in-law's house. Upon hearing the news, I immediately went there, bringing Bear Brand milk, which is believed to be effective in reducing fever.
During Imas's illness, I faithfully accompanied her. Every day, I consistently brought Bear Brand milk. Clearly, I was willing to travel from Bandung to Wado from work to stay at home and care for my fiancée.
Later, after we were officially married, Imas revealed a secret, honestly telling me that she had only drunk the Bear Brand milk once because it made her nauseous. The rest of the cans were consumed by someone from home, namely Eti, Teh Djudju's younger sister.
At that time, the courtship and courtship had lasted six months. As originally agreed, the marriage target was still six months away. However, the intensity of our daily meetings and closeness while caring for Imas made my defenses waver. The author couldn't hold back his longing any longer and wanted to legitimize their relationship. He plucked up the courage to express his desire to get married quickly. Unexpectedly, Imas immediately agreed.
The sacred wedding day arrived. Given the vast distance between Bandung and Wado, he initially didn't invite many people. He only told a few close friends who owned vehicles.
However, the joy of his friends seeing him finally married caused the news to spread by word of mouth. They told each other. As a result, even those without vehicles flocked to their friends who did.
And the biggest surprise came unexpectedly: the Unisba academic community! Colleagues, lecturers, and staff arrived in one large group, renting a giant tour bus. And last but not least, a sweet surprise came from Syauqi, the famous orator from FAMU (Unisba Student Action Front), who came with his fellow activists. They gave him a wall clock, which, remarkably, remains durable and in perfect working order to this day.
Seeing the influx of guests, the author was suddenly overcome with intense anxiety. He feared the food provided would not be enough to entertain the large group from Bandung. His suspicions proved correct; the kitchen supplies were running low and running low.
However, the hosts in Wado acted quickly with a tactical solution. They slaughtered a goat on the spot to make a quick satay dish. Finally, with mutual cooperation and abundant blessings, the wedding ceremony concluded safely, smoothly, and with great joy.
This joyful scene at the altar was accompanied by a soulful song entitled "Arti Kehidupan."
The Meaning of Life
I've traveled as deep as the ocean
I've searched for the meaning of life
Climbing the mountain of disappointment
Tiring...
You've become like a fantasy
You're a dream come true
A journey full of twists and turns
Now by your side forever
You're not the first
But definitely the last
In your love I found the meaning of my life
In your love I found the meaning of my life
In your love I found the meaning of my life...
Now, the once-beloved Eneng has been replaced by Neng Imas. Mawar has been replaced by Flamboyan. Now Melati has replaced her, but Mawar's charm from the past will never be forgotten. The world may change, the seasons may change, but the author's romantic love for Eneng in the past has its own eternal space; that feeling will never change and will only truly end when the author's body is wrapped in cloth
shroud.
This scene of deep inner reflection is accompanied by a song entitled "Eternal Love."
Eternal Love
No matter what happens
Likewise, my love for you
Will never fade
Chorus:
How painful it was then
You went and passed away
When our love was blooming
As fertile as a rose
Now everything has changed
Roses have become flamboyant
Jasmine is now their replacement
But I will not forget you
Chorus
My departure, darling
Not pain at the end of happiness
But pain at the end of love
May you be happy
How painful it was then
You went and passed away
When our love was blooming
As fertile as a rose
Chorus
My departure, darling
Not pain at the end of happiness
But pain at the end of love
May you be happy
May you be happy
May you be happy
Every human being will ultimately get what they strive for. But sometimes, even after putting in all the effort, people still don't get what they've been striving for. If that happens, firmly believe that God will replace it with something far better.
In reality, this is true. The author's marriage proposal was flatly rejected by Si Eneng's parents. However, instead, the author met Indung Barudak (the mother of the children/Neng Imas). An extraordinarily remarkable woman.
After navigating the nautical journey of marriage, it became clear that Indung Barudak possessed many amazing qualities. Among them was her firm principles in life. Whenever the author finished a task carelessly, Indung Barudak always reprimanded her and said, "Don't just neglect your obligations." As a result, because of this principle, whenever Indung Barudak did something herself, the results were always neat and perfect.
What the author's mind had never imagined, Indung Barudak had surely thought through. What the author couldn't do with his hands, Indung Barudak could easily accomplish. In fact, if the author were to do the same job and hand it over to Indung Barudak, the results would be guaranteed to be much better.
Another unique thing that often amazes the author is the change in atmosphere inside the house. If one day the author comes home and finds the wardrobe and bookshelves have been moved, and the bed has been completely repositioned, that's a secret code: It means Indung Barudak is broke!
Remarkably, she does all the heavy furniture moving alone without asking for help. If the author were to do it, it would require at least two adult men. Indung Barudak is incredibly strong. She is truly a WONDER WOMAN in the author's life.
Jasmine sekarang menjadi pengganti mereka.
Tapi aku tidak akan melupakanmu
Paduan suara:
Aku akan pergi, sayang.
Tidak ada rasa sakit di akhir kebahagiaan.
Namun, rasa sakit di akhir cinta.
Semoga kamu bahagia
Betapa menyakitkannya saat itu
Kamu pergi dan lewat
Saat cinta kita bersemi
Sesubur bunga mawar
Paduan suara:
Aku akan pergi, sayang.
Tidak ada rasa sakit di akhir kebahagiaan.
Namun, rasa sakit di akhir cinta.
Semoga kamu bahagia
Semoga kamu bahagia
Semoga kamu bahagia
Indung Barudak sangat kuat. WANITA HEBAT.
Sekarang semuanya telah berubah.
Bunga mawar telah menjadi mencolok.
Jasmine sekarang menjadi pengganti mereka.
Tapi aku tak akan melupakanmu
Paduan suara:
Aku akan pergi, sayang.
Tidak ada rasa sakit di akhir kebahagiaan.
Namun, rasa sakit di akhir cinta.
Semoga kamu bahagia
Betapa menyakitkannya saat itu
Kau pergi dan lewat
Saat cinta kita bersemi
