"How can you be so calm after all of this?" exclaimed Saeko who was finally able to calm down but was still shaking a bit.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean how can you be so calm knowing that people are look at you like you are some type of cruel monster?"
"Why do I have to care about how others see me?"
"Doesn't it bother you?"
"Why should It? Why should I make myself fit their standards? I've had enough of that. I'd rather them see me as a cruel monster than having to force myself to live an unfulfilling life full of lies. Besides, what's so wrong about me enjoying a good fight? Didn't you also enjoy It?"
After hearing those words Saeko was brought to a stupor. She for a long time had been trying hard to hide the fact that she was different from the rest, believing that she needed to act as a calm, caring, and kind person that many of the students at school could rely on. Now here right in front of her someone, who seems to be under the same circumstances as her, is telling her that he doesn't care that he's different . This left her utterly dumbfounded. To think there was someone like him in this world, Someone who didn't mind about how society views him. She couldn't help but smile as she thought
'Maybe this engagement could work out?'
As that thought appeared In her mind, she was soon brought out from It when she noticed a hand being waved in front of her.
"Hey were you listening to me?"
"Huh?, sorry I was just thinking about something. Can you repeat what you just said?"
"I said we should probably start heading to the nurse office now."
"Oh, yeah lets go."
Soon they both started heading into the direction of the nurses office. On there way there, the crowd of students blocking the way backed away and made a path for them to leave. As they left the Club room a loud commotion soon began from all the students.
RG: " That was scary. To think that Busujima senpai had a side like that to her"
RB: "Yeah, just remembering those smiles they had while they were competing blow for blow makes me shiver."
As some time passed and the students began to disperse and head back home, Saeko and Silver were already in front of the door to the nurses office. As they began to knock on the door, they soon heard the melodious voice of a woman.
"You may come in."
They soon open the door and proceeded to head In.
"Oh my, well look at you two. Hurry and take a seat on the bed so I can treat those Injuries."
"Sorry to bother you Miss Shizuka." said Saeko
"Don't be. By the way are you that new transfer student that I heard about."
"Yeah, nice to to meet you miss. My name is Silver Allen." replied Silver
"Well hello there Silver. My name is Shizuka Marikawa but you can call me miss Shizuka. Well I must ask, how did you guys even get those injuries. Did you two perhaps get into a fight?"
"Well, not exactly. We kind of got carried away during a sparring session which ended up In us getting these injuries." He responded
"Well that's no good, you two should be more careful of yourselves. You guys are still young and It will do no good If any of you two got any permanent injury."
"Thanks for your consideration. We'll make sure to be careful next time." Silver said with a genuine smile on his face.
As long as he remembered, when he was a kid back In his previous life, there was no one who had actually shown any concern or worry for him. His parents never cared If he got Injured and Instead showed him a cold look. The servants were the one's that treated his injuries, but that was only out of obligation and not because they sincerely wanted to out of concern for him. So having someone, who he only just met today, actually show him some care honestly warmed his heart.
Some time later, after they got their Injuries treated, Silver and Saeko were ready to leave.
"Thanks for taking you time checking and treating us up." said Silver
"No problem, you can come back to see me anytime. Now you guys should probably start heading back home since school is already over and you two need to get some rest to help fasten your recovery."
"Okay, I hope to see you again."
Saeko and Silver soon left the nurses office and proceeded to head towards the school gates. As they were heading there Saeko soon asked Silver
"Hey, about what occurred before. Were you disgusted by me?"
"Hm? What do you mean by that? Why would I be disgusted?"
"Weren't you disgusted by my behavior? Relishing In the feeling of causing pain. Cruelly smiling as we fought. Enjoying each time I got a hit in. Not caring If you were gonna be okay even after I hit you full force."
As Saeko continued speaking, she soon began to make a crazy look on her face. Her emotions soon began to turn into turmoil as she recalled the event that occur. As she was about to continue her mumbling, she was soon snap back to reality.
"Pfft, hahaha" laughed Silver
"Why are you laughing?" retorted Saeko with a bit of anger In her voice
"I just found what you said earlier to be funny. Why do you think I will be disgusted that you enjoyed our previous fight? If you didn't notice, I myself was also to engrossed and was also enjoying It, so I have no right to judge. Yeah you might be a bit sadistic, but to be honest, I think it adds more to your charm. So if anything, It make me more attracted to you than disgusted."
"W-Wh-What? are you serious? Do you hear yourself? So you are saying that you find a woman that enjoys fighting and causing pain to be attrictive? Do you have a screw loose?" Stuttered Saeko with a small visible blush.
"Well what can I say? I guess I just have a weird taste for woman."
As some time passed, Saeko soon regain her composure and soon after she smiled.
"You really are Interesting Silver. I guess marrying you wouldn't be so bad."
Soon after hearing those words, Silver choked and started coughing out a bit but soon calmed down.
"Ahem, well that was a surprise. I taught you told me earlier in class that you still didn't accept me?"
"I did, but as you said, actions speak louder than words. To be honest, the reason I didn't want to accept you as my fiancé was because I believed you will be scared or disgusted by me, seeing me as monster. I never believed that someone like me could be accepted. I believed that I wasn't worthy of loving someone or being loved. But today you proved me wrong. Not only weren't you scared or disgusted by me, You even said that you found me attractive. Hearing you say that kind of gave me some hope. So as of now, I decided to accept you. I hope you dont let me down." Said Saeko with a lovely smile at the end."
"Well I guess I should meet your expectations. So I guess we should take our time to slowly grow our feelings for each other, now that we are officially engaged and all?" replied Silver went a hint of a blush on his face
This is honestly his first time even getting this far with a girl. So to say that Silver wasn't is a bit nervous and embarrassed is an understatement.
"Yeah, how about I start visiting you from time to time then?"
"Sounds like a good Idea. So when are you thinking you are going to come visit?"
"How about two days from now? We do have school of since its the weekend."
"Sure"
Soon they both made it to the front of the school gates.
"Well I guess this is goodbye for now" said Saeko
"Yeah, see you later" replied Silver
They both soon after headed towards different direction, heading back home.
