As Ji You lifted her foot to leave, she had already anticipated this. She thought about it and felt that if she put herself in the shoes of an average person, they would certainly exclude their own people from the core temporarily, because the stakes were high. Plus, they hadn't done anything completely reassuring yet, so Shaun's actions made perfect sense from both an emotional and logical standpoint.
When she's not present, she can't control the whole situation, and if any unexpected event occurs, the true identities of her group could easily be exposed. Thus, Shaun sidelining He Yu, Liu Jia, and the others was actually a good thing, as it reduced the attention and scrutiny they received once they were no longer in the spotlight.
Pretty good.
So when Ji You left, her steps were uncharacteristically lighthearted, not worried at all; in fact, she felt quite happy, like a child who had just been allowed out, skipping along briskly.
