Reality was cut in half.
Before Alex, a massive thin vertical line filled his vision, which immediately started pouring out silver and purple light. It split open, slowly widening into the biggest Voidgate Alex had ever seen.
It was dozens, if not a hundred times larger than the largest Voidgate he had ever seen. Its width was only about a fifth of its length, but that was massive too. It was easily a hundred meters wide.
Alex was awed at the scene that resulted from his own attack for a single moment before the ship pushed him right into it.
Instantly, he felt space and time pull and push on him from all directions.
'I need to get out soon!' he thought.
The split in reality was still very much open.
Alex slipped away from the side of the ship, sliding down the barrier as he was left behind. The ship continued on into the Void, likely forever going to disappear inside there.
At least, that was what Alex believed would happen.
His belief was not proven right this time.
BOOM!
