Alex was surprised by the intensity of the Worldly Laws that descended around him. The Dao of Purging had to be quite a difficult Dao to learn, since the aura he could absorb this time around was much stronger than what he could with the individual Water Daos.
It was so strong that it was close enough to the True Water Dao in terms of strength.
Alex's cultivation speed was now much faster than before, and on top of that, he ate a cultivation pill to boost it by nearly tenfold. With his Blood Essence long since healed, Alex was now cultivating at a speed nearly on par with when he cultivated the True Water Dao.
The Worldly Laws lasted for 3 hours, during which Alex did his best to learn the Dao as slowly as he could in order to keep the aura around. However, after 3 hours, he had completely learned the Dao of Purging, and so the Worldly Laws retreated entirely.
Alex cultivated with what remained, but very soon, everything was gone.
