Fei Chen offered a faint smile.
"Miss Su, why haven't you visited the Prince Mansion these past few days?"
Su Ye's expression cooled as she looked at him without a word.
'He must know what happened that night.'
Su Ye lowered her head and straightened her sleeve.
"Did you come all this way just to ask me that?"
Finally, after Su Ye finished speaking, Fei Chen spoke again.
"Since you haven't been to the Prince Mansion, aren't you worried about the master?"
Su Ye froze, looking up at him.
"What happened to him?"
Fei Chen shook his head and sighed softly.
"After you and the master returned from the base of the cliff, he was wounded by that golden light. The injury was severe, and he hasn't recovered. He hasn't even been able to leave his bed.
But on his birthday, he couldn't stop thinking about you. He forced himself out of his bedroom, despite the pain, and went to wait for you in the garden pavilion ahead of time.
