The group split in two. Chu Liang and Fu went directly through the front entrance of Willow Spring Lane.

Xue'er was sobbing, her face streaked with tears.
Bai Xin was cursing and muttering.

She saw the Madam placating Bai Xin while sizing up Xue'er.
The Madam said with a smile,
"Young Master Bai, you can rest assured. Anyone left in our care will be trained to be perfectly docile and obedient."
Bai Xin rolled up his sleeves, put his hands on his hips, and said viciously,
"Teach her a harsh lesson for me! Make her learn some respect!"
With that, Bai Xin angrily flicked his sleeves and turned to leave.
