Lin Moyu nodded and was about to help the weak Kuang Zhan up from the ground.
Just then, she heard Chu Liang speak to Fu behind him.
"Fu, go take care of Kuang Zhan and Song Jue."
Lin Moyu stopped and looked at him.
Fu let go of the wheelchair handles and replied,
"Yes."
He then went forward to look after the two of them.
Chu Liang gazed at Lin Moyu, a faint smile gracing his lips. His sharp, indifferent eyes seemed to soften, as if bathed in moonlight.
Then she heard him say,
"Come here."
After he spoke, it took a long moment for Lin Moyu's heart to finally settle. She walked over to him, took the handles of his wheelchair, and their group departed from the Bai Mansion.
The City Guard stood in neat rows on either side. Any mercenary who had tried to escape with the Bai Family's jewels had been cut down where they stood.
The scene was gruesome, with blood flowing like a river.
Several of the Bai Family's buildings had been set on fire and were burning fiercely.
