After a moment of contemplation, he continued,
"The envoy from the Demon Clan has arrived in the Imperial City, and so have the envoys from Chunhua Country and the Golden Sand Country.
As is tradition, they will be staying here for seven days.
It's inevitable there will be friendly competitions and sparring matches between the nations."
When the Emperor said this, everyone else understood what he meant.
He wanted them to be the ones to handle these contests and trials.
Nan Ying spoke up.
"Your Majesty, rest assured. I will do my utmost."
Of course, these international competitions could not be allowed to damage diplomatic relations.
That was why the competitions never involved inviting elder Great Grandmasters to come and fight.
They were always friendly matches between the students of each nation.
Thus, the contest became a trial for the younger generation.
A smile spread across the Emperor's face at Nan Ying's words.
