Kurai slowly wakes up in bandages all over his body except for his face, he sees that he's in a tent and sees two elfs casting healing spells on him to help him recover faster
Suddenly Captain Tyg whose also in bandages except for his face enters the tent
"You two, leave us for now" said Captain Tyg
"Yes captain!" said the two medic elfs before saluting and leaving the tent
"Well well well" said Captain Tyg "seems like we live to see another day"
"Tell me about it" said Kurai "How long were we recovering before we awoke?"
"3 days for you, 2 for me" said Captain Tyg
"And your already able to stand up?" asked Kurai
"Like i told you, it's an innate ability of us elves, we recover faster while sleeping" said Captain Tyg as he looks at his bandages "well not completely recovered but it's a little faster than the norm"
"Care to share?" asked Kurai
"Nope" said Captain Tyg before taking out a letter "After we left the dungeon rift, on the day the i woke up the queen immediately send General Vyron to come here with a message to notify us of our next orders"
"Woah woah woah" said Kurai "I agreed to destroy one dungeon rift for my freedom, why do i get more orders"
"Well i told our experiences in the dungeon rift and after the general conveyed it to the queen, the queen decided that your contributions in destroying this dungeon rift is only half, as without me you'll be probably dead at either the first floor or the other floors without assistance"
"...Well ain't that a b****" said Kurai "what are the orders then?"
Captain Tyg looks at the message given to him by General Vyron "it says here, Captain Xavier the captain that was sent to the southeast dungeon rift with 20 elven knights has all perished inside the rift"
"….Xavier" said Captain Tyg in shock and anger then suddenly violent blue aura gushes out of Captaon Tyg's body for a few seconds before the captain calms down and his aura dissipates
Captain Tyg takes a deep breath and looks at the message once more "when Captain Xavier and his knights died, dark red clouds started to appear around it's area, and the skeleton guardians that's guarding the rift's entrance are now appearing daily than only one time"
"Becuase you are the most knowledgeable in this area we are ordered to go to the southeast area to investigate the unnatural behavior of the dungeon rift once we fully recover" said Captain Tyg
"So after this i'm free right?" asked Kurai
"It says here….yep your pretty much free to go" said Captain Tyg
"Then i'll do it" said Kurai
"Very well then, i'll see you later once we recovered from our injuries" said Captain Tyg before leaving the tent
"System, you heard what happened to the southeast dungeon area, do you have any ideas why it's happening?" asked Kurai
[When a challenger fails to complete a dungeon rift, as a punishment the dungeon break occurance will change to 100% and will occur in 2 weeks]
"2 weeks?" said Kurai "we should have some time thenl
"What was my reward again for clearing the final floor?" asked Kurai
