An academy trainee swiftly tosses a finger towards the skylight. "It was just exceptionally sunny and warm so why are our clouds going dark like that, sir?" They asked their vice captain. Luigi's face lit up with his ecstacy seen through his eyes and a wide grin. "Slate grey energy, at last, trainees be so wise as to back away further from our friend." He responded with his tone matching his expression before commanding his students. Derek's bones rattled as he was lifted up to his feet. Luigi refused to move his eyes away from what they witnessed. "Slate grey practitioners' energy does react to their negative emotions. It appears incredible as well." He noted to himself as he held onto his collar. The slate grey energy appeared as smoke with the color that matched its name and engulfed the youthful wayfaring Wiley. When it cleared after forcing shock and awe on Luigi and the present academy's witnesses, the wounds were still present on the wayfaring Wiley though he was freshly dressed in white and gray gear that resembled the academy's own. Derek was allowed and had taken the moment to catch his breath after it cleared. He then had zero hesitation rushing towards Alec. Derek kept glare trained towards the apprentice headmaster. "Curious of my energy and envious that I'm– the headmaster of this academy's Grand nephew and you aren't?" He shouted his question with a furious tone, "Our second round won't end like the first!" He finished fiercely as he initiated a combat stance to match it. Luigi flipped the dark aqua colored hair of his that covered his right eye and revealed an eye that was covered with lemon chiffon essence.
Amell noticed the clouds darkening through the academy's headmaster's opened five foot window. He conjured a cloud of slate grey energy and hastily sprinted into it with his uncle briefly following after him. The wayfaring silver-fox followed the energy that he and his uncle felt which led the pair to the arena where they were above the combatant occupying it. Amell ceased his uncle from interrupting the bout that was taking place. "I don't have a clue if this is the correct call but our boy might need this challenge to reclaim something we're on this journey for him to– let's not?" He told his uncle with slight uncertainty in his tone. Louis Wiley caressed his Dutch facial hair. "Reminds me of the incident that happened between Jacob and Elias. You told me about visiting and touring this place but what is this visit really about, Amell?" He questioned his visiting nephew. Amell's brows furrowed as his eyes were trained on his nephew in the academy's arena below. "He lost dear ones to him not very long ago. Pretty recently— uhh. Siblings that our eldest and Miss Lisha commissioned to continue training him while his gramps was assigned to his final task this summer. He wouldn't come clean so I was asked for this favor. Traveling the world to cheer him up was the goal but I think that he's struggling with the idea of maybe failure and maybe monsters in the world. Not standing a chance in this world. He was going to leave our family's oath because of this but none of us worried about that when deciding this trip, rather the shift in his attitude was on their mind. Our minds." He clued-up his confused uncle. Louis shut his eyes and briefly reminisced regarding his youth before training his gaze downwards towards his grand-nephew and student. "I'm sure he has Luigi's credentials on his mind right now in this case. Facing apprentice headmaster and a high status combatant from a prestigious monster slaying institution must be on his mind. Utilize this challenge as an opportunity to face yourself in the process, Derek Wiley." He kept to himself as he rested his hands on his hips. Amell bit the nail of his pink finger slowly as his brows dropped low. "I have to stop this, the grown up in me is shouting but my gut is saying this is a father-like-son situation. Make a decision, Amell!" He kept and reminded himself.
Luigi fixed his posture and taunted Derek, known to him as his mentor's grand-nephew. "Best shot to impress this prestigious academy, Smokey." He reminded the youthful wayfaring Wiley. Derek maneuvered in a swift zig zagging pattern in and out of traveling leaving trails of smoke. He closed the distance between himself and the apprentice headmaster. An on-looker held onto his hat. "Did he close that gap in a nano-second?!" He shouted with curiosity to the fellow students on his left. Derek attempted a flurry of jabs from his right to his left fist though Luigi slipped and ducked these attacks. "He's having a hell of a time?!" He thought to himself as he disengaged and cleared space. An on-looker with a sizable Afro shook his head. "Our Sensei is toying. He's never going to touch him even in his dreams." They thought to themselves. Luigi opened his palms as wide as he could manage as the adept practitioners in the audience saw what their second in command were up to and planning, witnessing lemon chiffon energy gathering in his palms. An on-looker with lemon chiffon tattoos held his arms crossed. "This is over for this young guy. Could he manage to be the first to survive a five percent attack from him that's not a big wig in the ranks?" He questioned and kept to himself. Luigi lowered the open palm slowly in front of his face until it reached his hip. Derek held both of his palms open and facing towards the apprentice headmaster which filled the area around him with smoke that he retreated into hastily. "What would dad or Dustin do right now?" He asked himself as he hid himself away. Luigi held in position to release the blast he had gathered energy for earlier. "Stepping foot in this academy, fraud. I can feel your life energy present which means that you don't have the stamina to change your structure and avoid this. Survive this without running to the Wiley way to. I'm not going to miss this. I promise I'm going to hit you where I intend to in a few seconds. This can either be a parting gift or one of your best feats. If you're hit by this after all of the training and time invested into you by some of the heaviest hitters on our side and you're not left standing— then you'll know if you should quit and give up." He shouted at him though all he saw was smoke. The apprentice headmaster then snapped his fingers with his thumb aimed towards the youthful wayfaring Wiley sending the lemon chiffon energy on a course to him. The audience and the apprentice headmaster didn't hear a sound, whether it was the energy crashing into the building or a peep out of Derek. The smoke cleared and vanished after some time and everyone present witnessed the cultivated essence being contained by Derek, floating between his palms. Luigi's eyes lit up followed by a shocked smile. The headmaster of Onoria Academy backed away covering his mouth and holding tears in. "Twenty percent. Utilizing an elite practitioner's containment technique and he's handling twenty percent of his raw reserves?!" He whispered with a tone mixed with uncertainty, joy and relief. Amell smacked his uncle's neck. "Go save him before we have to find out if he's been reading our family's diaries enough to learn to convert and accept it!" He shouted at him with a few of the students noticing the silver-fox's voice from below. Louis Wiley cleared his throat and wiped his face prior to holding his open palm towards his grand-nephew. "You've proved enough to yourself and this academy. I've got it from here, boy." He said to the youthful wayfaring Wiley with an expression of exhaustion like he saw on no other. Derek carefully moved the stored up energy towards the headmaster of Onoria before collapsing. Louis held it while adding to it. "Time for your own test, boy, let's just see how wonderfully you enjoy this game too, Lui!" He shouted as he pulled it behind him as if he were pitching a baseball while he lifted his leg. Luigi chuckled with an expression to match how devious it was. "Give this your best shot, ancient chinese secret!" He replied with identical volume and determination in his tone. The audience watched as the force of the headmaster's toss laid his apprentice out cold. Louis firmly rested his hands on his hips as he surveyed the audience. "Cease standing around here— take this guy to the infirmary and move on!" He shouted at his academy's student body. Each and everyone present scrambled and hastily cleared out the academy's arena's seats filled with various noises. Some were satisfied and others were disappointed as they fled.
