She, Aline, and Velnorah, along with Velina, had been trying for days to develop a way to create an absolute paradox, but the task proved incredibly difficult, far harder than they'd imagined.
"Indeed, it is much easier to use external powers to influence the cosmos than to use its own rules," Velnorah said with a tired expression.
An example of this was Eldritch power. It is much easier to change things using a power from another universe, while trying to break the rules from within is irritatingly difficult. Although the effect that Eldritch power had on the universe was more like corrupting than breaking.
"What do we do now? Give up?" Aline asked with a similar expression of exhaustion.
