Ash's unexpected reversal left the angels dumbfounded. Even though there is a one-in-ten-thousand chance, they were determined to take Ash away because the consequences of killing him would be too grave. The Divine Lords would not only lose the simplest method of divine promotion, but more importantly, Dazzling Star would swiftly collect supreme shares faster than the four Divine Lords.
Once Dazzling Star monopolized enough supreme shares, the four Divine Lords would still be unable to ascend to Supreme of Magic, thus the risk of Ash dying is almost as great as the risk of him being taken by Dazzling Star.
