After Malice had left Sinyster's room and flew to land up on the highest tower he was met by Slayer who was standing in the doorway of the staircase, as if he had been waiting for him. "Your Majesty." Malice said while giving a light bow of his head to Slayer. He walked up to where Slayer stood and the two stared at each other for a minute, both not saying anything.
Slayer broke the silence first, "So i had a little change of plans on how things are gonna be at dinner tonight." Slayer said to Malice. A smile came to his lips when he finished saying this and Without another word Slayer turned and started walking down the stairs, Malice following right behind him.
They walked to Slayer's study and once inside Slayer closed the door behind Malice and walked to the left side of the room to where the cabinets were, he went to the middle one opening it to show a display of various different bottles of liquor inside. After looking briefly at the bottles, Slayer grabbed the one he wanted and closed the cabinet doors, he then walked over to his desk, walking around to take a seat behind it.
"Come sit", Slayer said to Malice. He then snapped his fingers and had two glasses appear for him to start filling with the brown liquor. Malice took a seat in front of where Slayer was sitting at the desk and took the glass when Slayer handed it to him.
"Thank you for the drink, Sir." Malice said while lightly bowing his head to Slayer. Slayer then took a big drink from the glass before leaning back in his chair to look at Malice with a slight smile on his face.
"So I have decided to make the dinner plans for tonight, a little bigger for our guests and decided to invite a few others to join us." Slayer informed.
"Why the big dinner plans, Sir?" Malice asked Slayer in true curiosity and a little confused. "How do you know Sinyster will come? Vishious has not yet returned, as you're well aware of. Do you think because of his absence she might decide not to attend the dinner?" Malice asked. His expression he held on his face looked as if he was thinking hard about something.
And after a brief moment he asked,
"Do you think he went back to his own realm,, Sir?" Malice wondered because it had been hours since Vishious had left the Palace.
"I can't say for sure but if I had to guess, I would think so. Tell me did Sinyster happen to say anything to you about why she's here with Vishious?" Slayer asked Malice. He wasn't a patient person and wanted answers, quickly.
Malice should have guessed that Slayer would've known that he had went and seen Sinyster but he was still caught off guard by the unexpected question and he was not wanting it to appear as if he was trying to be sneaky or withholding anything from Slayer, he cleared his throat before saying, " I didn't get anything from her yet that's of any use. But it does seem she dropped her guard a little with me and is thinking of me as someone she might be able to trust and confide in." He let Slayer know, " i will know more tomorrow when I meet up with her, I can tell you that it is obvious that Vishious does have something over Sinyster to have her to work for him though." Malice said what little he had found out from talking to Sinyster just a little bit ago, but he knew it wasn't anything that gave Slayer any answers to any questions that he had.
Slayer's eyes darkened and the smile he had fell. He knew that Vishious was using Sinyster for something but he couldn't think of what it could possibly be that Vishious would need from her.
He could only suspect that it had something to do with her black magic and if that was the case, then Vishious was up to something that could very well turn out to be catastrophic.
Slayer figured that Vishious wouldn't be back tonight because of the Realms' time dimensions being completely different from each other. He knew Vishious would return though and that his visit in Damns Hollow was not yet over because of what he had learned in regards to Malice.
Slayer knew that he had to take advantage of Vishious leaving the Palace, this was probably the only chance he really had to find out what was going on with his sister; and for him to possibly be able to find out if she knew anything about what Vishious wanted and was up to.
Sadly he knew that time wasn't on his side in this but he had to try and make the most out of the little time he was given.
This would also be the time that he would find out if he and his sister were allies or if they were now enemies.
He didn't reply to what he was just told by Malice and instead decided to change the subject.
"Tonight we'll be having Commander Beast, Commander Anguish, General Gruesome and General Grievance coming to join us for dinner tonight. So I look forward to introducing them and for them finally meeting my little sister. " Slayer said this in a way that had Malice wonder what he was planning to do tonight.
" What's the approach that you're planning to use, Sir?" Malice asked, cocking his head a little to the side as he spoke to Slayer.
"I'm gonna use this opportunity to try and get Sinyster on our side and find out where her loyalty's really lie, but if she decides to stay with Vishious than I'll unfortunately have no other choice but to throw her in the dungeon for being found out as a spy and an enemy." Slayer said in a eerily calm, emotionless tone. As much as he did care for her, Slayer knew that if she was going to stay loyal to Vishious than she would need to be treated as if she were threat and not continue to let her roam around freely because it would be too risky and stupid on his part to allow her to do so; he wasn't going to take those kind of chances when it came to anything that concerned Vishious.
"What is it that you would have me to do, Sir?" Malice asked in a serious tone that let Slayer know that he was willing and ready to do whatever it was that needed to be done. He lightly bowed his head as he spoke and his eyes showed his determination and readiness to follow Slayer's lead.
"Just keep doing what you've been doing with Sinyster and keep being friendly and comforting to my sister. It's obvious that she has started to take a liking towards you. I hope that's not a problem for you?" Slayer asked Malice, knowing that the young Kamaira was attracted to his little sister. The last thing he wanted was to use Malice like this but it was necessary to get Sinyster to drop her guard and get her to reveal what it was that Vishious was up to and if nothing else get her to tell Malice what it was that bound her to work for Vishious.
"Don't disrespect me please by asking me such a question. I will do whatever is needed of me, and I have never let you down and will continue to do so. " Malice responded to Slayer's question in a offensive, serious tone. A crease coming to his brows as he spoke, his eyes narrowing slightly.
This response from Malice made Slayer chuckle lightly. He then cleared his throat before saying, "You should already know that I've never doubted your loyalty to me and that if I ever did i wouldn't hesitate in letting you know?" Slayer said darkly and he continued to say, " I don't care to use your attraction towards my sister as a ploy to use for my own gain but it's necessary in this situation." Slayer said keeping his blood red eyes locked on Malice as he spoke, his voice holding clear annoyance in it.
Slayer didn't like how things seemed to be set in a way that no matter what approach he decided to take, he had to use someone to be able to figure out what his brother was up to. In any other circumstance where it concerned anything else, Slayer would just handle the situation by means of torture or quickly just kill anyone who dared try his patience but with this dealing with his siblings, Slayer couldn't deal with it that easily and he didn't like how Vishious' arrival had brought a unnerving factor into his life.
A heavy sigh left Slayer as he raked his hand over the top of his head and down his long ponytail, bringing his hair to rest over his shoulder to lay over one side of his broad, muscular chest. Slayer than looked back at Malice before saying, "Let's head down to the dining room and welcome our dinner guests, shall we? If nothing else, dinner tonight should bring us some interesting entertainment." Slayer then rose up from his chair and headed for the door, his eyes noticably darkening and his aura gave off an unnerving feeling, as if warning anyone who thought to approach him to think twice.

Once Sinyster was ready to go out and meet her brother for dinner, Loree and her stepped out of the room and into the hallway to start walking down to the dining hall where the dinner was going to be held. Unlike earlier, when the corridors had been empty, the corridors now had more servants and maids busying themselves going back and forth to make sure that things were ready for tonight's dinner that their Lord had ordered to be held for his guests.
Sinyster didn't miss the looks that she was getting from those she passed, for no one knew of this guest who was walking the corridors, towards the dining hall. Also, being accompanied by one of their own fellow maids that they all knew walking a couple steps behind the unknown beautiful woman, had all the servants and other maids who saw the two women walking together, confused and a little envious. Wondering how it came to be that the young maid had gotten picked to be able to walk with someone who was from the higher demon class. It was something that all servants and maids dreamed of and longed for, for it was extremely rare for a slave, especially a human slave to be allowed to walk alongside someone of the higher class and even rarer for it to be with a higher class demon. They couldn't remember a woman coming here for a visit.
Sinyster was trying hard to not let those staring at her walking towards the dining hall get the better of her and make it to where she just went back to her room instead of attending the dinner that Slayer had invited his guests to attend.
She could feel the anxiety building up and the fear of not knowing how Slayer would react when he saw her, made her want to just run around and run back to her room and hide. She was slowly losing her courage to go through with attending this dinner without wearing her cloak to hide her identity and her steps started to slow down the closer she got to where the dining hall was.
Noticing how they had slowed down to a very slow pace, Loree asked in a quiet voice, "MiLady, is everything ok?"
Startled by the sudden interruption of her mental conflict that she was having, Sinyster came to an abrupt stop; which led Loree to run into her.
"I'm so sorry, MiLady. I didn't mean to run into you and I'm sorry for not paying better attention." Loree apologized bowing her head deeply as she quickly spoke to Sinyster.
"It was my fault for stopping abruptly in front of you like that, so you have nothing that you need to apologize to me for Loree. And I'm not so sure about going to dinner like this anymore and I'm debating on whether to return to my room and quickly change to just going to dinner in my cloak instead?" Sinyster confessed her uncertainty. Loree could clearly hear In Sinyster's voice the nervousness and dread that she was feeling. Not knowing why Sinyster suddenly became anxious about going to dinner without hiding behind the cloak, Loree asked, "MiLady, may I ask you something?" she wasn't sure if it would be out of line for her to ask any questions without first asking if it was ok, as she was just a mere maid after all.
"Yes, you may talk freely." Sinyster said in a very quiet voice, not wanting anyone else to possibly hear them talking.
"MiLady, does His Majesty know you?" Loree asked hesitantly, hoping that she wasn't overstepping her place with Sinyster.
This had Sinyster turn to look Loree in the eye and for a second the maid felt as if she had said something that she shouldn't have and she took a quick step back, bowing her head deeply to Sinyster ready to apologize for being disrespectful but was interrupted hearing Sinyster quickly say to her, "You're ok."
Sinyster had come to think of the maid as someone she could talk to and could truly trust and she didn't want to lose the only friendly person who she had met and decided she had to tell Loree some things about her situation here and quickly.
Sinyster grabbed the startled and confused maid by the wrist and quickly led her to the closest pillar for them to go behind to talk, to avoid anyone from seeing or hearing them if they happened to be walking by. She let go of the maid's wrist and she could tell that she had frightened Loree by her abrupt actions.
Sinyster placed her index finger in front of her lips, letting Loree know to be quiet and that she didn't need to be afraid. Loree nodded letting Sinyster know that she understood and wasn't going to do anything that would draw any unwanted attention to them.
Sinyster quickly looked around making sure no one was nearby before saying, " Yes, His Majesty and I know each other but we haven't seen or spoken to each other in many, many years now. And he isn't aware that I'm here staying in his palace and that that it's me underneath the cloak and who has come with Lord Vishious. And truth be told, he might become angry once he finds out that it's me or I'm hoping he will be happy when he sees me, but that's why I'm nervous because I'm not sure how he will feel." Sinyster said just above a whisper for Loree to hear what she was telling her. Making it where Loree had to really concentrate so she heard what Sinyster was saying to her.
"But why would finding out who it is that came with Lord Vishious upset His Majesty? Were you two once involved with each other?" Loree asked innocently. She couldn't hide her curiosity about Sinyster and His Majesty's relationship with each other.
This had Sinyster unable to hold back from laughing at Loree's innocent question before she answered, " Well, no nothing like that at all. You see.. well..I - I'm His Majesty's.... I -i'm His little sister." Sinyster said this and she couldn't hide the wave of emotions that washed over her and it was hard for her to voice this outloud.
Loree's eyes suddenly turned wide upon hearing this and she didn't know what to say or how to act to something like this, she would have never guessed that His Majesty had a little sister, or any family for that matter.
Sinyster stood there staring at the maid waiting for some kind of response from her and could feel the anxiety start to build up inside her even more now with the stretched out silence.
"I'm not sure what to say, MiLady?" Was all that Loree could finally say to what was revealed to her. She was surprised to be talked to and confided in like this by someone who was of higher status than her and she wasn't used to being treated so nicely by someone who normally wouldn't ever have anything to do with a mere maid like her, who was nothing more than a slave to the higher class people, especially a Demonness of higher standing.
She didn't want to discourage the lady who had openly trusted her to reveal such personal information to her and who was since the beginning has been so nice and kind towards her. "I don't know anything of His Majesty's and Your relationship with each other but considering how you wanted to attend this dinner without hiding under the cloak but to go like this, makes me believe you don't want His Majesty to keep being unaware that you're here and that you really want to see Him and for him to see you. . Otherwise, you wouldn't be nervous and wouldn't have even bothered in attending this dinner tonight. " Loree stated this in a soft, supportive voice and offered an encouraging smile to the lady before continuing to say, "So, I think that you're making the right choice in going to dinner without wearing the cloak and going unhidden. I also believe that this will be an awesome surprise for His Majesty and that you won't be disappointed with his reaction when he sees you walk through the dining room doors. He'll be pleased to see His little sister again." Loree said happily and showed her growing positive excitement.
Sinyster appreciated having Loree with her and couldn't have asked for a better person to support her." Thank you, Loree. I can't tell you enough how much I appreciate and am grateful that I have you with me. You're encouraging and uplifting words mean more than you'll ever possibly know and I'm lucky to have crossed paths with you." Sinyster said this and she then quickly stepped forward to hug Loree for a brief second before releasing her and stepping back again.
"Now Let's get you to the dininghall, so you can enjoy dinner tonight with your brother, MiLady." Loree said with a small bow of her head and a big smile on her face. Sinyster nodded her head and returned the smile to Loree before she turned and proceeded to walk towards the dining hall.
When they finally approached the huge double doors made of dark wood, the two guards who stood on either side bowed their heads lightly before stepping aside to take hold of the doors handles and pulling the doors open for them so they could continue to walk inside.
Sinyster took a moment to take a deep breath before exhaling it, trying to calm her nerves.
She took a step inside the dining hall, which was followed by another and then the next one. But the more steps she took, the more her legs shook. Her eyes had been looking down at the floor watching where she was walking to avoid looking at anyone for a bit so she could calm her nerves.
