It's been 2 weeks since Thor fell unconscious. When it happened Eorlund was given a fright and immediately tried taking the swords away from Thor thinking they were the cause but he was unable to get them out of Thor's hands as if they were glued to him. Seeing as he couldn't separate them Eorlund picked Thor up and brought him to his bed while him and Fralia did everything they could think of to try and help him but nothing seemed to have an effect. After a week passed they were even more worried as even if on the incredibly unlikely chance what was happening to him isn't harmful, he still hasn't eaten anything. They were on the verge of a mental breakdown when 2 weeks after Thor fell unconscious he finally opened his eyes.
'Uhh my body feels so heavy, the last thing I remember hearing was the system saying im gonna fall unconscious or something while my body improves' Thor thought while slowly lifting up his body before leaning back on his bed frame only to look down at the foot of his bed was his grandma and grandpa sitting in chairs with their heads on his bed sleeping. 'System, how long was I out?' [2 weeks host] '2 weeks is a long time for someone to sleep so i'm not surprised they were worried' Thor slowly got out of bed to not wake them before noticing he was still holding the two True Ice swords. 'I didn't even notice I had them in my hands, they feel so light and comfortable now and don't emit the freezing aura they had before. Why is that system?' [It is because you are now an Iceborn. Iceborn have the ability to manipulate True Ice and its corrupted counterpart Dark Ice. Iceborn usually have the ability to imbue their attacks with a incredible cold that could slow or freeze their enemy but it is enhanced many times over if the person has a True Ice weapon as the user absorbs the natural cold magic from the material into their body and enhances their mana by imbuing it with the cold of the True Ice]
A/N: That's my own theory as it's not exactly explained how Iceborn use their abilities and why True Ice Weapons make them stronger, it just says that they are incredibly cold resistant and have the ability to manipulate True Ice and Dark Ice. Also in one of the lore pictures showing ashes mother and sejuani's grandmother in a fight it shows a cold aura emitting off their weapons even though they didn't have True Ice weapons but it did say they were both Iceborn.
'Will my mana having an icy nature affect my use of Cremation?' Thor asked worried he would not be able to use his fire. [Negative, host's ability Cremation will work normally] 'That's a relief" Thor thought while sneaking out of his room, down the stairs and into the kitchen. Despite technically being fine because he used mana as a substitute, he still felt incredibly uncomfortable having his stomach be completely empty besides gastric acid. So he decided to make a feast for the three of them and wake them up that way as he didnt want to deal with a bunch of questions he can't answer and what's a good way of distracting people if not great food. As he got to work he also started taking in the changes of his body, whether the power it held or his reaction time and many other changes.
In the half hour after he started working a stomach rumbling aroma spread throughout the home all the way to his room on the second floor where two heads popped up looking at each other in confusion before looking at the bed. Seeing it was empty both started to panic before they noticed the great aroma spreading around the home, so they rushed as fast down the stairs as their old bones could handle into the dining and kitchen area only to see their grandson setting the table without a care in the world as if he wasn't just in a coma for two weeks. Also there were obvious changes to his body whether his size, build, muscles or hair and eyes and considering he was but 7 years old these changes were very noticeable to them.
They both rushed to him and hugged him to their chests holding onto him like he would disappear from their sight and embrace. Thor just hugged them back while waiting for them to calm down. "Are you alright? Are you sure you should be up and walking around?" Fralia asked while looking him up and down and holding his face in her hands "I feel amazing grandma, there is no need to worry now" Thor said while smiling helplessly at her "what happened to you boy? We thought we might have lost you after you didn't wake up for 2 weeks"
Thor hearing the question from Eorlund decides to answer in a way that was believable "I think I was awakening as a Iceborn grandpa, after I woke up I noticed I had new abilities like these" while saying this thor backs away from the two before lifting his hands, He ignites one hand with a mesmerizing white-blue fire that seemed as dangerous as it was beautiful while in the other hand he creates a blizzard in his palm that was emanating the same cold Eorlund felt from the True Ice swords over the years but before they could fully comprehend even those two abilities they hear the roaring of thunder and look above Thor only to see a creature that seemed to be made of lightning and shaped like a humanoid wolf. Fralia and Eorlund stood there stunned and mesmerized as magic is revered in the Freljord and their grandson just showed he not only has it but has three powerful kinds of it.
They only came out of that state when Thor stopped using his magic. "Ya so I can do all that now so we're gonna need to add another training section to my schedule for my magic hahaha" Thor chuckled while scratching the back of his head. Eorlund and Fralia just glanced at each other before they both started laughing in delight. "Ay who knew someone in my family would be able to such incredible magic one day" Eorlund said while giving Thor a big slap on his back "yes, yes he is amazing but now we need to eat you old buffoon I'm sure Thor is hungry after two weeks of sleeping" Fralia said while sitting down but you could still see that she was incredibly happy and in awe. After Fralia said that they all sat down and had a hearty meal while laughing and chatting in contrast to their usual silent but nice and comforting way of eating.

[Because Iceborn are beings made from a deal between Lissandra and The Watchers in Lissandra's attempt to make her and her sisters and their followers stronger but what Lissandra didn't know is that gives the watchers the ability to corrupt the Iceborn should they be to close as such with your evolution that weakness was removed]
A/N: I had him show his magic because although he has it he wont be able to use it well if he never practices with it so by showing them it makes it so he can use and practice his magic with the excuse he got it for being an Iceborn.
