Beep Beep Beep
That noise make it stop, I'm in complete darkness with the most annoying beeping, just what I need. Wake up, come on I can't rest now I have work to do.
"She's moving, My queen please wake up"
Is that 201, right enough of the sleep i'm getting up now, which that single thought my eyes snap open and i'm blinded with bright light.
"Shit" I quickly shut my eyes and sit up.
"Majesty, are you okay ?" I hear Madock ask me. I slowly open my eyes and acclimatise to the light I look around the room to see all my deputies around me, looking grim.
"Alright everyone calm down, I'm not dead yet" I chuckle at them all.
"Its not a laughing matter, why did you not tell Madock about the spell" Lestat is quick to admonish me. I sigh at him, he's like a mother when it comes to me.
"Lestat this is a long story, I have my reasons ..."
"You can't get us to back down with that excuse, we need ...."
"Stop" I raise my hand at Lestat telling him to stop talking.
"As I was about to say, I have my reasons and I will explain it to you all later, we need to have a meeting to discuss all that has happened and I will explain the spell then, right now I need to speak with madock and get some food I am starving. Is this acceptable to you all ?" I raise my eyebrow at Lestat challenging him to defy me. Everyone around the room starts to snicker at him.
"I think our queen has spoken Lestat, we will of course abide your orders" David bows and stars ushering the other out they all bow and start joking about Lestat. I lets out a sigh of relief and start to stretch out and wake up a bit.
"Well that was funny, but seriously how are you feeling?" Madock looks at me seriously.
"Im fine, I have been through worse and it's not like I haven't felt that spell before" I smile at him.
"That may be but I am always going to look after you, now why did you not tell me sooner I could off helped you release it" He looks hurt at me not having trusted him.
"Madock, I did not tell you because I don't trust you, I rust you with my life and more, I did not tell you because I can't" He looks confused at me.
"Like I said it's a long story and I will tell you, First though can you please magic me some food" I look at him pleading.
"I swear you only keep me around to be your personal food maker, next time you can call the chef to make you something, you know this is not exactly my job" He starts to magic up my favourite dish, Rare Steak with chips, simple I know but its my favourite.
"I know, but you are so good at it" I cheekily smile at him. He hands me the plate and I tuck in as he does some magic to check me over there is lingering pain in my body from the spell when I tell him he performs some restoration magic.
"Corpus tuum in statum pristinum restitue, omnia vulnera sana et vires imple" I feel the pain fade away and my strength replenished.
"All done" I look at him and he nods.
"Alright let's go meet the others, I guess they are in the meeting room?" I question him knowing they would not wait long for answers.
"Yes, my queen" Madock starts to chant to open a portal to the meeting room, what can I say the man is a warlock.
"Sinite nos per fores invisibilis transire ad locum ubi volumus esse" a light appears in front of us, we walk into and exit into the meeting room, everyone turns to look at us and all bow to me. I nod at them and signal them to rise.
"Please everyone lets be seated" I gesture over to the table, as we starts to sit down Flora looks to Madock.
"Just could't resist portaling here could you" she smile at him.
"I'm a warlock, what do you expect" he smiles back.
"Oh please Flora, You are no better, you fly and show off you wings whenever you can" Delphyne quickly snaps at Flora.
"Well Delph, I'm blessed with such beauty and grace I have to share it, unlike your .... ummm own different qualities" she smerks at Delphyne.
"WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTING ABOUT ME !!" Great I guess this is to be expected, fey and demons have never got along.
"Alright both of you stop it now, we have business to discuss" I admonish both of them, they are quick to shut up.
"We apologise my queen" Both say together, it's the only time they agree, when they apologise to me.
