Chapter 13 - Journey Continues

Chapter 14 — Bonds, Journeys, and Bloodlines of the Impossible

The world kept moving forward as if it had always known this version of history was coming.

Dragon Balls were being gathered across the planet.

Adventure had begun in earnest.

And somewhere between destiny and chaos—

relationships started forming in ways even fate didn't know how to categorize.

## **Bulma and Goku — A Love That Shouldn't Exist (But Does)**

Bulma was not supposed to fall in love.

At least, not like this.

At first, it was frustration.

Then curiosity.

Then confusion.

And eventually—

something far more dangerous.

"…You're really leaving again?" Bulma asked, arms crossed, trying to sound annoyed.

Goku stood beside the Capsule Corp vehicle, smiling like always.

"Yes! I find Dragon Balls!"

Bulma sighed.

"You don't even understand what they do properly."

Goku nodded proudly.

"I know! Magic balls!"

Bulma pinched her nose.

"…That's not the point."

But she was watching him differently now.

Because Goku wasn't just strong.

He was *effortless*.

He learned faster than logic allowed.

He survived things that should have killed him without realizing they were dangerous.

And worse—

he never looked at her like she was strange for caring.

He just… accepted it.

Like it was natural.

Bulma muttered quietly.

"…Idiot."

Goku tilted his head.

"Hm?"

She quickly turned away.

"Nothing! Just—don't die, okay?"

Goku grinned.

"I don't die easy!"

And somehow—

that was exactly what scared her.

## **Azer — The One Who Chose the World**

Azer did not stay on Mount Paozu.

He left.

Not because he was weak.

But because staying would have meant stagnation.

Mints didn't stop him.

Paula understood him.

Goku didn't even notice he was gone until days later.

Azer traveled the world like a storm given consciousness.

He fought bandits.

Criminal empires.

Hidden martial sects.

Ancient Earth techniques long forgotten.

And along the way—

he met her.

Chi-Chi.

At first, she tried to kill him.

Naturally.

It did not work.

Azer stood in front of her village, arms crossed, mildly annoyed.

"You're loud."

Chi-Chi glared.

"You broke my gate!"

Azer blinked.

"It was weak."

That was the moment everything started.

Because Chi-Chi did not fall in love easily.

She fell in love with strength that respected her strength.

And Azer—

for all his arrogance—

did not treat her like someone beneath him.

He treated her like an equal problem to solve.

Over time:

* arguments became training

* training became rivalry

* rivalry became understanding

* and understanding became something neither of them admitted

Until one day—

Azer simply said:

"I will return."

Chi-Chi crossed her arms.

"When?"

Azer paused.

"…When I'm done becoming something even he would acknowledge."

Chi-Chi narrowed her eyes.

"That 'he' better be worth it."

Azer smirked slightly.

"He is."

And that was that.

## **The Bloodline of Mints — Goku's Truth**

Far away, Mints stood with Paula overlooking the world.

Azer's departure was known.

Goku's journey was ongoing.

Bulma was already emotionally entangled.

And Mints finally spoke about something he had never emphasized before.

"…Goku is not just a Saiyan."

Paula looked at him.

"I know."

Mints nodded.

"But people forget what that means."

He raised a hand slightly.

A faint projection appeared—

a lineage line stretching backward through impossible time.

Goku → Bardock → Saiyan lineage → fractured ancient Saiyan bloodlines → **Yamoshi's era**

Then deeper.

Until it stopped at something that looked… incomplete.

Paula frowned.

"The original Saiyan divergence point?"

Mints nodded.

"Yes."

Then he added:

"But there is another branch."

A second line appeared.

Not Saiyan.

Not fully divine.

Something mixed.

Something unstable.

Something ancient.

## **The Truth — Goku's Real Origin**

Mints spoke calmly.

"Goku carries my genetic imprint."

Silence.

Paula blinked.

"…Explain."

Mints continued.

"Before his reincarnation cycle stabilized…"

He paused.

"…a fragment of my existence remained tied to the Saiyan evolution line I influenced."

Azer's voice echoed from memory:

"Why is everything always your fault?"

Mints ignored that.

And continued.

"Bardock's survival divergence allowed the dormant imprint to manifest in the lineage."

He looked toward Earth.

"So Goku is not my son in the traditional sense."

A pause.

Then:

"He is a descendant of my residual evolution signature."

Paula whispered.

"…So he inherits your growth trait?"

Mints nodded.

"Yes."

"And the instinct evolution?"

"Yes."

"And the abnormal adaptability?"

"Yes."

Paula exhaled slowly.

"…That's why he learns like that."

Mints nodded again.

"Goku is what happens when Saiyan biology intersects with my dormant evolutionary pattern."

Azer suddenly appeared behind them.

"…So he's basically your biological echo."

Mints corrected calmly.

"Yes."

Azer frowned.

"That's disgusting."

Mints replied:

"I know."

## **Why Bulma Matters in This Timeline**

Paula looked toward Earth.

"And Bulma?"

Mints was silent for a moment.

Then:

"She anchors him."

Azer crossed his arms.

"How?"

Mints explained.

"Without emotional grounding, Goku's evolution becomes purely instinctive."

He paused.

"That leads to instability."

Paula nodded.

"But Bulma gives him… direction."

Mints agreed.

"Yes."

Azer smirked.

"So the smartest human on Earth is dating your strongest echo child."

Mints nodded.

"…Correct."

Azer sighed.

"Reality is weird."

Mints replied simply:

"Yes."

## **A Future Already Diverging**

Far away on Earth:

* Goku continued collecting Dragon Balls

* Bulma slowly accepted her feelings

* Chi-Chi trained harder waiting for Azer's return

* Azer crossed continents becoming something closer to legend than man

* Grandpa Gohan continued training humanity's hidden potential

And above all of it—

Mints observed quietly.

Not interfering.

Not forcing.

Just watching the branches of existence grow into shapes even he did not fully control anymore.

## **Final Thought — Mints Alone**

That night, Paula asked him:

"…Are you still bored?"

Mints looked at the sky.

"No."

A pause.

"…Not anymore."

Azer smirked.

"Because of them?"

Mints nodded slightly.

"Yes."

Then added softly:

"Because for the first time…"

He smiled faintly.

"…I don't know exactly how their story ends."

And somewhere in the distance—

Goku laughed.

Azer fought.

Bulma argued.

Chi-Chi trained.

And the universe quietly accepted that its strongest anomaly…

had finally created something even he could not fully predict.
