Connor's pupils contracted. Fang Heng had appeared at his right side at some point unknown, a dagger highly condensed from an aura of death in his hand slashing swiftly past.
The dagger cut diagonally upward across Connor's body, leaving a long gash.
No blood flowed from the wound at all. Instead, it was covered by a layer of deathly gray.
Fang Heng narrowed his eyes and was about to swing a second strike when his expression suddenly changed. He immediately raised his hand and brought the dagger up in front of him to defend.
"Boom!!!!"
Almost instantly, a terrifying holy power erupted from Connor's heart.
The surging holy shock that rushed straight at him blasted Fang Heng backward.
Fang Heng looked up and saw holy power rapidly dissolving the deathly gray that shrouded Connor's body, while a reverse-teleportation divine light beam descended and enveloped Connor within it.
