It was also an important time for the police force to be properly developed in the kingdom to provide a safer environment for the people of the Ness Kingdom to live peacefully without fear of what could happen to them one day.
The two other officers were a Merfolk and a Fishman, so it was possible that they could survive the gunshots.
It would have been more likely that the Fishman would have survived just like Suigiri, but the threat to the Merfolk was taken into account.
That result had led Monera to recognise the need for even better equipment and methods suited to that profession.
Close combat restraint techniques were made a priority for the officers to begin learning to assist with subduing any criminals who needed to be detained, rather than having to resort to more lethal measures unless it was necessary.
Those alone would not be enough, but it would make the residents of the kingdom feel a lot safer with there being a lower death rate.
Those joining the police force of the Ness Kingdom needed to feel like they had a secure job and would not be exposed to too much danger, while their families needed to believe the same.
If they did not believe those things, then there would be fewer people who would be willing to take on that type of job.
That was even more reason why proper police gear and equipment needed to be developed, along with other measures that could aid them in their work.
The first thing to be developed was effective shields that could be used to protect the police officers from all kinds of threats, similar to riot shields.
It was the same for putting more attention toward developing less lethal weapons that could be used.
More training would be required to be able to use each of them, rather than relying on the usual weapons and weapon preferences of each person.
While those events were taking place, Alyssia had already been travelling around for quite some time, gathering more skills and earning more points by challenging anyone she came across.
If there were notorious pirates who were far too dangerous to leave alone, then she would bring them down to fulfil her duties as a Warlord.
If they were harmless pirates who lived by a certain code of conduct, then she was more willing to overlook them.
Even if they got away from her, they would not get away without having their members challenged to a fight before they were let go.
They would often be used to gather more points she could spend and to test out some new fighting styles while she was at it.
Some other parts of her journey were made to uncover some more unique skills and to find some unique talents along the way for the White Storm to develop further.
Some of her trips happened to include some encounters with people from unique races or possessed certain traits that she had not yet encountered.
During her first trip, Alyssia had already covered most of them by sneaking into different islands to collect more samples of those races and others with unique traits, so there were not that many that remained.
The territory of Big Mom was especially helpful for gathering those kinds of things, as a result of there being so many people from each of the races being born into her family.
She had been quite successful back then, so there was little she was missing out on, but there were still some that would be better to have more data on.
It was especially more helpful when those races were of a purer bloodline, as they would be more helpful toward fully identifying the unique Lineage Factor of those races.
Her other experiments had continued, whether it was related to her understanding of the Lineage Factor, Haki and everything else that connected them.
Her understanding of the Mink Tribe and the Sulong had improved greatly as a result of that, to the point that she had been able to grasp certain aspects even more related to frequencies and waves shown from Haki, Devil Fruits, Sulong and much more.
Those discoveries led her to believe that most things in the world were deeply connected in many ways, but they each worked on a different frequency or wavelength than each other.
When it came to each of the living beings in the world, they possessed a unique wavelength that worked off their vitality, and they could use their intent to use it in various ways once they had been able to unlock it.
Her theory seemed to fit in other ways, especially when it came to understanding Devil Fruits and their relationship with those who ate them.
Her theory was that the frequency or wavelength would get tangled with the person who ate it, causing their change and gaining of those abilities.
The main problem came after that, related to a theory with the most power or racial weaknesses, similar to different types of Kryptonite being used to weaken or achieve other effects on Superman.
Since the frequency or wavelength of the Devil Fruit eater would have changed and become entangled with the frequency of the Devil Fruit, there existed a weakness to it that could disrupt or block that connected wavelength, resulting in the user being weakened.
The frequency from being deeply submerged in water blocked or disturbed that joint frequency, just as touching materials like Sea Prism would work in the same way that Superman would be affected when exposed to the radiation coming off Kryptonite or making contact with it.
When it came to the research related to the Mink tribe and Sulong, her understanding of it all had been greatly enhanced, too, when thinking of the trigger being a result of a unique frequency, wavelength or a form of radiation.
That effect had already been replicated, but she continued to gain a more thorough understanding of it, like how it was only effective when the Mink Tribe were exposed to it under a full moon or something matching that exact wavelength, replicating the effects of moonlight.
Her most recent studies into the Motherflame, which was a way to replicate the power of the sun itself, were just as important in understanding those things.
When considering everything she had learned related to her Navigation secondary job, her understanding of the planet and most parts of it had been greatly enhanced.
That happened to go beyond the Blue Planet itself, further into space, since such knowledge would still be useful for navigation.
Knowing how the celestial movements and other mysteries of the world and beyond were just as important to know when it involved something that was deeply related to her race, like the Blue Planet, the moons, the sun and everything else that was connected.
If she could understand those concepts well enough, then it would be a huge breakthrough in many ways, since it could let her understand so much more about how the radiation or wavelengths of the sun would reach the moon and would be reflected off it to give off what was known as Blux Waves.
