She turned around excitedly, accepted the mission to watch over the remaining men, and then transport supplies into the forest. However, when she went outside and saw the empty horse carriages, she was dumbfounded.
...
"Where's the food? Where's the water?"
Several female disciples were also dumbfounded. After stomping their feet in frustration, they scattered to check the supplies on each of the carriages.
They didn't know until they checked, but once they did, they found that the horse carriages, which were originally fully loaded with supplies, were now all empty.
"This one's empty."
"This side is empty too."
"All of them are empty, there's nothing left!"
The female disciples were going crazy. Without supplies, what are they going to eat or drink? Water is not a big problem, as there are still some water sources in the forest, which can be used for now.
But what about food? Without it, were they supposed to gnaw on tree bark?
