The military didn't keep everyone waiting long. When the time struck 1:00 sharp, everyone felt their Communication Wristwatch vibrate, and then 100 red dots appeared on the map.
After getting a clear look at the red dots on the map, almost everyone blinked, suspecting they were seeing things.
The red dots on the map now were vastly different from their initial, uniform distribution across the city center. Many of the red dots had already left the centermost region and begun to migrate outward.
A dozen or so red dots had even left the city center's boundaries entirely, moving into the wider urban district.
Clearly, these were teams that had obtained Energy Balls and were unwilling to remain and fight, choosing instead to flee to the urban district to hide.
After all, the urban district was much larger than the city center. Combined with the lower number of Zombies, the danger was reduced, which made it easier for them to hide and escape.
