After hearing Lin Xinghai's explanation, Kong Hua believed him.
Raphael, however, just thought Lin Xinghai was spouting nonsense with a pathetic excuse. He even started to suspect that Kong Hua had specifically arranged for this man to say these things just to disrupt his state of mind.
The more he thought about it, the more likely it seemed. He snorted coldly. "What a pathetic lie. But I don't have time to watch you two put on a show. I'm leaving."
As he spoke, he swung his massive Sharp Claws repeatedly, temporarily forcing back the Rock Giant that Kong Hua had become.
Then, he immediately pulled back and sprinted for the tunnel exit.
It was only then that Lin Xinghai realized they had, without him noticing, almost reached the exit of the secret passage.
"You're not getting away that easily!" Kong Hua roared, immediately giving chase and tangling with his opponent once more.
Lin Xinghai wasn't idle either; he ran quickly, closing the distance to the two combatants.
