Ian Lockwood had initially worried Victor Morgan would do something cruel. When he heard the only punishment was to send Faye Lockwood away, he was willing to accept it.
He had been planning to do the same thing. Even if Victor Morgan hadn't brought it up, he couldn't have let Faye Lockwood stay and cause more trouble for Vera.
Victor Morgan's anger subsided slightly when he heard Ian had the same idea. Still, the thought of what Faye Lockwood had done was appalling.
"Since you're already thinking along those lines, I'll leave this matter to you. I trust you can handle it. But let me be clear: if she harms Vera again, I absolutely will not let her off the hook."
Ian's feelings were complex, but he could only nod. "I understand. Don't worry, I won't let it happen again."
Ian had already decided to send Faye away. He would have her study abroad and forbid her from returning for the next few years.
