There was a hint of reproach in Vera Warner's voice. Although she understood how Victor Morgan felt, she felt even more guilty considering what Gale had done for her and her daughter.
But Vera also understood that Victor Morgan wouldn't risk everything to help save Gale the way he would for Chloe Warner. After all, the two of them didn't have that kind of relationship.
"I'm not blaming you. I just want you to understand that Gale can't help anymore, so you have to find someone else. I assume you've already contacted Damon Larson."
She had seen right through him, so Victor Morgan couldn't hide it any longer and simply nodded.
"The plane has vanished, and even satellites can't track it. There are hundreds of people on that flight. We have to find them, no matter what."
Hearing this, Vera's heart grew heavy. She had no intention of stopping him, but she was already overwhelmed, and this wasn't something she could help with anyway.
