He was speechless. Maia looked at him suspiciously. She didn't hear what SophiaCat said, but she could tell that they had a prior agreement she didn't know.
"She wants me to protect her today, but I told her no, and now she's upset she found me here without her knowing."

Maia looked in thought at SophiaCat walking away.
"Sis Maia, she's obviously trying to seduce Quarter."
"Yes and from the looks of it, she's not succeeding. Hehehe."
Knowing that Misho rejected her, Maia giggled softly, her previous suspicions completely melting away into a smug sense of victory.
Maia didn't know it, but Misho would have fallen for it if it weren't for him being antsy today after finding out that the clan had plans today. It was a tempting offer considering everything.
