"Oh."
Christine Quinn glanced at her daughter through the rearview mirror and asked with a smile, "Why did my darling daughter suddenly want to go to New York?"
"I haven't seen Uncle Geoffrey and Auntie for a long time; I really miss them, but I miss Andrew the most."
"When your aunt has her baby, it should just about be summer vacation for you. Mommy will take you then!"
"Okay."
Christine Quinn smiled gently.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of the school, and Christine waved goodbye to her daughter.
Only after watching her daughter walk into the school did Christine leave with a faint smile.
No one expected that, as Christine was reaching for the car door handle to get in, a sharp pain suddenly pierced her heart.
Christine clutched her chest tightly, almost fainting from the heartache, but luckily she managed to hold onto the car. After taking a couple of deep breaths to adjust herself, she weakly opened the car door and then leaned against the leather seat.
