Captain Makaga, piloting a fourth-generation Pure Mechanical Mecha, the Predator, led the charge.
They dispersed in an orderly manner into teams, approaching the Fortress Level VI Combined Beast from different angles.
However, before they could launch an attack, a terrifying red light emitted from the Combined Beast, radiating onto the approaching mechas.
In an instant, painful cries echoed through the communication channel.
Makaga was momentarily stunned.
"What's going on?"
"Not sure, my squad's mecha suddenly went out of control, they seem to be in pain."
"My subordinates are having problems as well."
...
Just then, a warning popped up in Makaga's mecha.
"Warning: High-intensity unknown radiation pollution detected."
Makaga immediately responded, saying to his subordinates: "All models below the third-generation mechas, withdraw and do not approach, this monster has radiation pollution!"
"Understood."
The subordinates present responded in terror.
