Roxy's POV
Hmm.
Janet, Janet...Janet...
I was right there when you told your own sister to pick between me and you.
Leaned against the wall right outside, levitating with his wings put to a halt, Seraphiel turned to look at me slowly. His expression...unreadable.
"This is your human leader? Seriously?"
He had every right asking me that question. I marketed her to him wrongly. And here, I thought she was working towards a greater good.
All she was concerned with..is the Regime.
Not Humanity.
Regime. Only.
"She isn't entirely purposeless, Seraphiel. Let's leave. Eavesdropping is bad, brother." I said, floating away to Cyrus who was chilling on a branch nearby. It was as if he had accepted there was no place for people like him in the HQ.
"Hmm. Since when did Devil have a heart as soft as an Angel?" My brother asked out loud. I laughed at him, said nothing. We left the space before Janet flipped another table and broke my eardrums.
