[Now in Siberia...]
The portal behind us snapped shut violently.
One second we were inside warmth and luxury.
The next?
Siberia punched us straight in the fucking throat.
Cold air crashed into my face so hard it almost felt solid. Snow whipped around us mercilessly while the storm screamed through the mountains and frozen wasteland like some starving beast hunting for flesh. Even the air here looked dead.
Akira folded instantly.
"OH MY GOD!!! MY LUNGS ARE FREEZING!!!"
He collapsed face first into snow.
Gena sighed and yanked him back up by his jacket.
"Stand up before your balls become historical artifacts."
Krune looked even worse.
His entire body was trembling while his glasses fogged repeatedly.
"I-I hate this place..." he whispered miserably. "Humans are not supposed to live here..."
"Yet they built a whole secret kingdom in it." Cyrus muttered.
And he wasn't wrong.
