The morning, I woke up nicely cuddled and warm between the sheets. I stirred myself awake, accidentally waking the human beside me who hummed and stretched just like me.
"Hmm...good morning, princess..." he greeted.
"Good morning, handsome. Wait, do you smell that?" I sniffed the air like a dog. When I opened the door, I screeched as I almost stepped on Oob!
"Aw, my baby! I'm so sorry I didn't see you there! Did you sleep all alone last night? Hmm?" I picked up my little cloud, kissed him thoroughly as he made happy noises...I think.
We went downstairs to see the Angel humming a divine tone - which I didn't mind in this household - as he stirred morning soup.
