"The most important realm in the universe?" Lex repeated, a number of different answers flashing through his mind. The answer clearly depended on whether or not Arch-Heaven could be considered another realm or not.
The general consensus was that it was not a realm, and instead constituted a special part of the universe which granted access to the natives of Vaelûn to interact with, and in a limited capacity, influence the larger and wider operations of the universe itself. The higher the position, the greater ones could influence the universe. Ultimately, however, that influence was not something permanent, and could at most be considered the authority to handle tasks on a case by case basis.
As for what the actual drawbacks for having such a position were, there was no clear consensus. For now it appeared that whoever held a position could simply leave Arch-Heaven when and as they wished.
