"Because you deserved it!" Ayami's voice cracked, "I hated you with every inch of my being!"
Some started running away, afraid to get implicated in all of this.
Others shouted, crying out for her to stop, but no one approached the two. Fear kept their feet glued to the ground.
"I hated you before I even met you!"
Her fingers dug deeper into his throat.
Akira gasped as his hands instinctively came up to pry hers away, but her grip didn't budge.
He looked at her weakly.
Her nails had dug into his skin, and if he let her continue, he was sure she would choke him to death.
Akira planned to push her off, but just then, her words stopped him.
"You destroyed Alvi! You destroyed my mother's— Aaaa!" She screamed at the top of her lungs, unable to even understand what she was saying, "My mother! What did she ever do to you?! What did I ever do to you?!"
Akira's eyes widened.
Realization slowly dawned on him.
Forgotten fragments of memories began to align.
