Ryder Sharp went to the office today. For once, he wasn't dressed entirely in black. He wore a white shirt and black trousers, his buzz cut sharp against his scalp, giving him a cold and arrogant air.
He was tall, with a sharp gaze and an imposing aura.
The atmosphere in the private room instantly plunged to freezing.
Ms. Alden nudged Sylvie Lockwood. "Go on. Your man's here."
"..."
'What does she mean, *my* man?!'
Sylvie Lockwood wished she could dock her pay and bonus, or even fire her on the spot. How could she have such an employee, making decisions without her boss's consent? It was outright mutiny.
With all her employees present, she couldn't just kick him out or let anyone notice something was amiss. She smiled at Ryder Sharp and said, "You're here."
"Sorry I'm late."
"Not at all. Have a seat." Sylvie Lockwood gestured for him to sit next to her.
