Back inside the game, Ren found himself in exactly the same position as before.
Same location.
Same equipment.
Same stats.
Sam scenario.
It was as if he had never left the Fey Realm at all.
He was still on Hopten Beach, standing beside the raft with Princess Elena nearby.
For a moment, Ren simply stared at his surroundings.
Everything was exactly where he remembered it.
The beach.
The village.
The raft.
Even the Princess.
It was almost unsettling.
"Ren?"
Ren blinked and looked at Elena.
"What?"
"I said I'm going to get some shut-eye."
Ah. Right. That. His sense of time was all jumbled up in this game.
What would he give for the game to have a skip button right now.
The Princess grinned, her eyes filled with amusement.
"You sure you're not joining me?"
"No."
The answer came out far more quickly and flatly than Ren intended.
He paused.
