Chapter 94 - It's been three hundred years.

Inside a space that was completely shrouded in dense darkness, six orbs of light were rotating in a circular motion. The light of the orbs faintly illuminated the space. Aside from the six orbs, there was one larger orb soundlessly hovering in the middle while releasing electric sparks occasionally.

The orb was clad in a golden colour that was a tinge of a lighter shade of blue.

Suddenly, the golden orb glowed brightly as the dense darkness instantly disappeared, and the entire surroundings became white.

"Hmm?"

In another location, a woman who seemed to be in her early twenties with long waist-length silver hair hummed as she looked up at the clear azure sky.

She was seated on a small, pristine chair on the square-shaped rooftop of her castle that looked like it was made of pure gold and silver. Her eyes were a deep shade of blue with a tiny tinge of yellow to them.

She donned a black lace gown that extended a little above her knees. Though her cleavage was slightly exposed.

Her skin was as white as snow, and even though she was beneath the intense heat of the sun, her clear, undamaged skin didn't lose its exquisite glow.

She was a beauty that couldn't be found just anywhere, as she was one of the most beautiful women in the universe.

"This feeling, why is it so familiar?"

The woman wondered to herself. Until a moment ago, she was basking under the warmth of the sun, when she felt a powerful presence somewhere in the lower world. But unfortunately.

Aside from briefly sensing that presence, she couldn't quite figure out where exactly that powerful presence was coming from.

As if whoever it was placed some kind of obstruction barrier around themself but, but was that even possible?

That presence was definitely too powerful to be hidden by a normal barrier.

Another thing that bothered her was that she wasn't able to locate that presence just now despite being one of the strongest persons in the universe, while she wasn't the strongest, she was most definitely ranked among the top five as her title was "Queen of light" or "The white empress" as the title suggest she was the strongest light magic user even if you were to search the entire universe, you'll never find someone as skilled as her.

While she was born as a mere human three hundred years ago, she gained divinity and left the lower world, now owning her own world.

As for the person who gave her divinity, he was known as the "God of all gods", the God of Creation who created all the worlds that existed in the present time.

(The characteristic of that aura is similar to that of the person, how? That person should have died many years ago)

The silver-haired woman leaned back into her chair as she pondered many possibilities. After a moment, she simply closed her eyes. Well, it didn't matter whether that aura belonged to that person or not; if he was still alive, it was only a matter of time before they met face to face.

The silver-haired woman thought, a gentle smile tugging at her soft, lustrous lips.

In another location shrouded in darkness...

A large orb floated soundlessly while illuminating the darkness.

The orb was releasing a bright glow as sparks of silver lightning flickered around it occasionally.

"Hm? That aura just now, I can't be the only one who felt it?"

A woman with long flaming red hair suddenly asked as she looked at the other three women around her.

At her sudden question, a young girl in her mid-teens slowly opened her blue-coloured eyes.

"Yes, I felt it too, but... for some reason I can't find the location of that aura."

The young girl with wavy blue hair said with a troubled look on her face.

"I agree it's impressive that someone could hide their aura from us, who are easily the strongest existence in this world right now."

A woman in her mid-twenties with long green hair said as she placed her hand beneath her chin and hummed.

Next to her was a young girl who seemed to be twelve years old. Her black-coloured hair was styled in a bob cut.

She staggered back and forth with a sleepy expression while rubbing her eyes.

"Muu... the presence just now felt kind of similar to master, don't you think?"

She asked, turning her sleepy eyes to the women in front of her.

The green-haired woman, Hera, nodded her head in complete agreement. She still found it hard to believe, after all, she saw her master die right before her eyes.

There is no way for anyone to come back from the dead, even for a god.

The orb continued to flicker wildly as its glow shone brighter and brighter.

"The infinity orb, I think it's reacting to something."

Aqua said as she narrowed her ocean blue eyes.

"Tch, everyone with brains can figure that out."

Aetna said with irritation. She felt really annoyed right now, for her, a being who is a higher existence.

She was used to having everything under control. Her flaming red hair began to heat up as though reacting to her heightened emotions.

"Oh, I didn't know you had any. I thought you were just a brainless meathead with an old, wrinkled body."

Auqa said with a bored face. Hearing her words, Aetna's face twitched as she glared at the blue-haired young girl. If glare could kill, she would probably be dead a thousand times already.

"Hmm... Aetna, could you calm down? The surroundings are already so hot, and now you are making it even worse."

The woman with long green hair, Hera said, sighing.

"Hmph."

Aetna turned her face away in a huff.

"And you, Aqua, please stop. We're in the middle of something really important right now, if you could please wait until were done for you two to start bickering."

"I understand, forgive me, Lady Hera."

Aqua said with a bored face.

"Anyway, what could generate enough magic power that even the infinite orb could react to it?"

Aetna asked with a pensive expression. The other two also pondered while the young girl closed her eyelids as if this wasn't her concern.

(The god of creation died three hundred years ago. Aside from us, he is the only one who could influence the orb of infinity. Being its creator, he should be dead; the concept of creation died along with him. A god cannot live without a concept such a thing was simply impossible, which means)

Someone else must be behind all this once she came to that realisation. Her expression changed abruptly.

Meanwhile... back inside the cave somewhere in the Deki forest.

Alya desperately tried to heal the unconscious Haruto. Slowly, the paleness of his soft skin was regaining its natural colour.

Seeing that, Alya heaved a sigh of relief. However, her face froze when she noticed small markings like tattoos starting to appear on his delicate skin.

The marking was written in words that even Alya, who had lived for hundreds of years, couldn't understand.

"What is this? Why have they appeared now?"

She wondered, but soon Haruto's eyes slowly opened. Startled, she stopped her healing and observed him closely.

"Haruto, are you okay?"

She asked, her face contorting in worry, but-

"Haruto... is that my current name? I see so, I'm Haruto now, how interesting. I didn't think I'd wake up so early."

Haruto didn't answer Alya's question; instead, he started mumbling to himself pensively before standing up.

His voice sounded the same, but Alya found that there was something different about his voice, something more distinct and profound.

The way he spoke just now was filled with power and dominance that the usual Haruto never gave off.

"Wait, there should still be venom poison in your body. Please let me finish treating you."

Alya ran to Haruto and held his hand gently. He gently shook her off and stared into her eyes, his black-coloured eyes slowly turned gold as he spoke.

"No need."

Haruto answered back, his body was subtly being clad in a golden aura that spread far and wide, engulfing the surroundings.

Nikita, who was punching the four-eyed spider came to an abrupted halt as she felt that terrifying aura.

Cold sweat ran down her face as her body trembled. Ben, who was also pressured by that aura, instantly lost consciousness, and for Alya, her emerald eyes widened.

"Th-this golden aura, impossible it's the same as his."

Her delicate body trembled as small tears gathered at the corners of her eyes. The person in front of her was none other than the person who created her, the supposedly "God of Creation"

"Alya, tell me how long I have been dead?"

He asked, turning his golden-coloured eyes towards Alya, who was standing beside him.

"Huh? Y-You've been dead for three hundred years."

Alya responded in a faint voice.

Hearing her response, Haruto or rather the God of Creation, clenched his fist as he hummed.

(I've been dead for three centuries. Huh? I see this world is still intact, so those elemental goddesses must be doing a good job; the God of Destruction should also have been reincarnated already. Though he shouldn't have all his powers of destruction similar to how I don't have all my powers of creation, as for the other gods and goddesses, they should have also been reborn as well)

He thought. The God of Creation looked at himself curiously as he pondered. As he was reborn into the body of a human, it was a fragile vessel; he shouldn't be able to use one hundred per cent of his original power at this stage. He barely had 1/1000 of his old power.

The day when this world will be consumed in darkness is slowly approaching, but he isn't ready for that day.

Before then, he needs to grow and become stronger to face that darkness once the time comes.

(My awakening came too quickly after this. I'll have to go back to sleep for a long while. Back then, I only transferred a fraction of my consciousness inside the god core. Since this boy was on the verge of dying, I had no choice but to force myself awake)

At that, a small sigh escaped his mouth. He then looked at Alya and was about to ask something, when—

"!!"

A strong killing intent washed over him. Curious, the God of Creation turned his golden eyes in the direction of the killing intent and saw the four-eyed spider there, glaring at him. His eyes remained indifferent as he received the killing intent of the four-eyed spider.

His golden eyes could see through everything; there was nothing in existence that could obscure his senses, even though the block of ice physically obstructed his vision.

The four-eyed spider couldn't see the God of Creation since its vision was obstructed by the ice walls, but it could feel a powerful presence beyond it.

Its four red glowing eyes had a hint of wariness in them after all that aura just now wasn't weak.

"Hmm... this spider was corrupted by the miasma from the demon continent."

He muttered.

"Be careful, that thing is really agile for a creature of its size."

Alya warned.

"I see... I don't have much time here, so I'll be back in a few minutes."

He said lazily before walking off. Soon, his body floated lightly over the wall of ice before landing in front of the spider.

"Master."

Nikita called him once her eyes landed on him, but he said nothing, instead keeping his golden eyes on the four-eyed spider with an amused grin on his face.

The four-eyed spider then charged forward with an impressive amount of speed unthinkable for its large size.

(Oh, she really wasn't kidding to be able to move so freely as though it was light as a feather, not bad, but)

The God of Creation smiled. It's been a while, so let's see how much this body can take. He then held out his hand and moved his fingers in the air. Nikita's crimson eyes widen as she sees strange and unfamiliar words appear before the God of Creation's hand.

(Impossible in scripted magic? No, scripted magic is advanced, but that's not magic. I can't sense any magical power.)

Nikita thought as she watched the spectacle happening before her.

"Now then, let's see how well you can handle this, divine flame, of the goddess Igna."

From his outstretched hand, a torrent of blue flame shot out, heading straight for the four-eyed spider.

"!!"

Sensing the impending danger, the four-eyed spider tried to move away, but...

BOOM!!!...

RUMBLE!!!....

The entire cave shook fiercely for some time as though it was about to collapse.

Before the four-eyed spider could even move, space distorted behind the four-eyed spider, and suddenly a fist laced with a golden aura struck the rear of the four-eyed spider's body, sending it forwards towards where the blue flames were currently heading.

"Hiffgfh!!!"

Its giant body writhed in pain as the blue flames slowly but surely were eating away at its flesh, soul and existence, while its body was covered in flames, the four-eyed spider launched its leg towards the God of Creation, attempting to pierce him through, but—

"Sigh, so this is the limit of this vessel."

The God of Creation said, noticing his consciousness was starting to fade, sensing the attack of the spider, he quickly held the cuff of his black coat and fed it some of his power. Golden lightning flickered around it, and the streaks glowed faintly, increasing its defensive power.

Once the leg of the spider made contact with his coat, its leg bounced off like bullets hitting rubber. He then twisted his body and landed a heavy blow with his elbow onto the spider's back, further breaking its skin as green blood flowed out.

The blue flame continued to burn the four-eyed spider even as it tried to extinguish the flames by moving its body. It was completely useless as its vigorous movements only increased the temperature and caused the flames to spread more quickly.

"All your efforts are useless; those burned by my divine flame will turn to ash, not even the target's soul will be spared."

He made those merciless proclamations coldly, as his golden eyes grew duller in colour; he was starting to feel sleepy, it was a sign that he had woken up too early.

Nikita stared blankly at the four-eyed spider that had already stopped moving. Meanwhile, Alya had appeared next to her at some point with a proud smile spread across her face, but—

"Alya, I'm going back to sleep. Unfortunately, it's not time for me to wake as of yet; until then, please take care of this boy. I have already set up a protective barrier around him, so the others shouldn't be able to sense him."

He said as he staggered to his feet, his body swayed, and his eyelids closed, before his body could hit the ground, Alya appeared and caught him gently in her embrace.

"Understood, I definitely won't allow anything to happen to him."

Alya said as she gently caressed the unconscious Haruto's face and silky black hair.
