At the far edge of Umbrasol, beyond the busier streets and the soft noise of daily life, there was a stretch of open land. It was a place people visited sometimes to walk, to sit, or simply to enjoy the quiet away from the central areas.
A low stone path curved gently through the fields, bordered by small patches of grass and young trees that had only recently taken root. A half-built structure stood near the edge of the field.
It had been under construction for days.
Or at least… it should have been.
"That's… strange."
A worker stood in front of it, scratching his head.
"What is?"
Another man beside him frowned.
"That wall. It had a crack yesterday. I saw it myself."
The first man pointed.
The second man looked at the wall.
It was… straight.
Perfectly straight.
"…Maybe you imagined it."
"I did not imagine it,"
The first man shook his head.
"It was right there—down the middle. Boss pointed it out very specifically, we were going to rebuild that section today."
