Eliza skidded to a stop, a powerful shockwave erupting from the sudden halt. She then dusted off her knuckles before repeatedly clenching and unclenching her fists.
"Good thing I cancelled the buffs at the last moment," she said to herself. "Didn't want to kill him with one hit."
Her voice was eerily calm as she walked forward, green ice spreading outward beneath her feet.
She then raised her left hand and moved her index finger through the air, tracing a circle before tapping its centre and constructing a complete three-ringed magic circle.
"Ice Nova," she said, declaring the spell's name.
A massive burst of brilliant light erupted from beneath her feet, followed by a wave of cold that swept across the land in all directions at the same time.
When the light finally disappeared, thousands of undead monsters had been encased within layer upon layer of green ice, their bodies trapped inside and slowly melting because of the overwhelming amount of life energy infused into it.
