Beelzebub recognized her instantly. He gasped in disbelief, fell to his knees, and cried without end.
"A-Arachne…?!"
She stood wounded, half her face missing, her body gnawed and torn as if some beast had devoured pieces of her and cast her aside like nothing.
This Arachne burned with resentment.
But not the resentment toward his master that he had expected.
"Master…"
She wept, her single remaining eye shedding tears of blood as she called out to him.
