A tower lies certain up ahead, whereas countless hurdles stood in place, their movements random, yet with his presence everything seemingly aims to kill. The dispute between rivaling warriors, artilleries centered to wipe their foes all focused in ending his life, he stood between a war yet all eyes centered to him. Unlike his first attempt, the cloaked figure jumps through the rooftop evading dozens of bolts of arrow sent on his way
[On your left-]
Suddenly a voice snaps his focus and he seemingly froze as he gaze to the direction the voice uttered in panic. A blunt strike directly in the head harnessing the force to instantly shatter the cloaked figures skull upon impact. Just when the corpse would collapse to the rooftop, it was sent to the beginning, and revived, having all injuries restored and treated.

[This is the 11th time now... how in the world are you going to survive this? The difficulty is nothing compared to the things I've put you through. So why bother?]
"To be honest with you, I just came here after a mid life crisis. I was in my thirties. I had a low income job. And bitchless to say the least..." Silence fills the air as he said those words without his commonly indifferent humor.
[Do you want me to console you?]
"No, I never even thought of that. I feel like I just have to do this. I'm finally receiving the backlash of my first revival," He mentions his first ever encounter with death, the piercing sensation, the cold it brings, and the helplessness to do anything.
"My second death was even worse... It help me realize how death is terrifying. Not the process of death but the lingering regret that you should've done more. That's why I feel like that if I let this opportunity slip, it'll pile up on my countless shitty disappointments,"
[I don't know the feeling because I have excelled in everything I did. But you being in your middle age says a lot about you. No one would be that dumb enough to risk his life, not unless he sees the world for what it truly is. A hell that only drags you the more you insist in choosing the safest route]
The tension in the air seemingly drops as if Christoper Morris finally reached his desired outcome from the deaths he stacked. "Well enough of that sappy hullabaloo. I didn't came here to play therapist with you. I just feel like I should clear my mind a little bit,"
[System: The player Christoper Morris has gathered an immense amount of mana in his body way beyond his limits.]
"Haste, Amplify+ Overclock!!!"
[ARE YOU INSANE?]
As Christoper Morris invoke the activation chant of his spell he added Amplify. A magical technique that enhances the properties of the selected spell, granting him an insane burst of speed. But even with amplification was present, he couldn't have been able to move rapidly in quick succession. Thats where Overclock comes to play, by bringing a spell to it's maximum allowable limit with the drawback of absorbing more mana. Failing to supply the mana in time and it'll lead to the castors body suffering an outburst, exploding their body in the process.
"I'm not stupid. I know what I'm doing. Just trust me... this time I'm sure of it. I'll reach that castle for sure," On his 12th attempt he was passing through the obstacles as if it were a breeze compared to his failures.
This was by no means the presence of luck or the means of his spell, every death after his first attempt were calculated. He took the wrong route on purpose, as every monster, soldier and even artilleries were monitoring his actions, making countermeasures and applying them in real time. But even if they could readjust their tactics, the time that'll took them to adapt is by the end of his current attempt.
[System: By Overclocking your mana breathing you were able to gather enough mana to maintain the Overclock version of [Haste]
Status: You feel a burning sensation in your lungs as you maintain your mana breathing. Due to your pain tolerance you were able to resist the pain
Outcome: Due to you maintaing the Overlcoked Mana Breathing, you're health will slowly lose hp the more you- with the activation the the skill [Heal] you mitigated the ongoing damage.]
'Unlike the simple way of mastering proper movement and weapons, the method I'm using is 10 times more effective. Although I'm considered dead if I die in an attempt the Player Perk registers it as a near death experienced which greatly raises my perks. The more I die, the faster my progression is, raising magic Mastery to (E-) was to get myself a better feel with mana. The pain tolerance help me pushed through, and heal kept everything in check with only needing to be activated a few times,'
Although he could've easily reached the castle walls if he continued to run through the rooftop, nevertheless he jumped through the crowded plaza. He exchange blows with the warring sides and they rally to kill him, but as soon as he was about to get his ass handed to him once again the artilleryman fires. The hidden troopers stationed near the tower fired at him and due to him being surrounded, the warriors took the blow in his stead.
"Magic Orb, Amplification + Compression + Overclock!!!" A small flickering ball floats above the sky as dozens of soldiers tries to stab through the corpses stacked against him but was met with a blinding flash.
"My eyes!!!" The Npc enemies screamed as they saw the small flickering sphere grew in size and radiates with a bright light before it explodes.
"I made it just in time. Good thing I trained my reaction speed. The timing was crucial to escape that risky gamble of a plan," While his enemies had yet to recover from the blinding aftershock of his spell he walks closer to the tower that held the princess.
[System: The player Christoper Morris has activated the skill [Earth Array] nearby earthly materials can now be manipulated]
The hardened reinforced bricks smoothly opens in his command and it locks tightly as he makes his way to the top. At the peak he met the gaze of a certain someone, bound in chains, injured and bleeding, she calls for his aid. Christoper Morris responded by th
reading carefully, while monitoring every step he took the moment he set foot in there room. At some point he stopped and blatantly ask a simple question to the chain bound princess
"Are you the princess?" Christoper Morris asked.
"Yes-" Upon hearing confirmation to his answer he immediately fires a multitude of magic orbs piercing through her body
"Pretty good acting... should I award you an Oscar for that performance? Even my Ex faked an orgasm and its still believable,"
Unlike other Transmigrators, the author himself is not brave nor fearless, before he entered the room he found scattered notes. Although he wasn't apart of this world nor did he learned it's language, the perks of him being summoned allowed him to read it's content. Their lies the condition of the princess, her age, height, and even race while also noting her horrible condition.
"Okay dark sorcerer you can stop playing dead now. Where's the orc princess? You must have a hidden space to keep that thicc baddie-" Just as he was about to fire another spell directly, the ground crumbled, revealing a vast and hidden space where he gracefully landed.
"You're quite intuitive dear savior. But you're too late. I have now successfully contracted myself with a demon!" The feeble body of the dark sorcerer gun downed by his magic orbs had their body morphed to an eldritch horror.
"Well shit... I knew this would happen, it's either humanoid demon form. Or whatever that tentacle looking porno of an appearance,"
"You insolent rut! This is the ultimate life form of all. I'll show you how powerful I've become. Eldritch blast!!!" The dark sorcerer open fires a beam of malignant energy aim towards Christoper Morris, it's speed and power were something he was incredibly outmatched.
"Forgive me Sage... but I'll be doing the most unconventional technique to survive. By combining the utility of Earth Array and the properties of restoration of Heal... I can create an imaginary holy ground. Imaginary technique: Holy Ground,"
As the attack had surely stricken the unfortunate adventurer, the shadows portraying his silhouette says otherwise. A shoddily constructed wall took the bull brunt force of the attack, it's durability was ordinary yet it's property was special. A landmark that contains restoration, purity, and indifference to the power the dark sorcerer possessed became ground for the gods.
[You idiot! Why did you waste such perfectly good mana on something as mockery as this spell? This can't even compare to a true holy ground]
"That's why I said sorry in advance,"
[System: The combination of [Earth Array]x[Heal] has allowed you to make use of [Holy Ground] a high level skill.
Status: Maintaining this effect for long shall greatly increase the cost of mana consumption over time.
Outcome: You feel a wave of inspiration penetrating your body, you feel weightless, your injuries are healed, your fatigue has been removed]
As he said those words the properties of Heal spread across any earthly materials in his vicinity. Just by standing in that landmark he felt his entire being blessed and healed, mimicking the properties of a true divine landmark. As he faced against the agent of Chaos he evens the playing field by
