Red POV.
I looked at the two groups. I couldn't explain the fear in their eyes as they looked in our direction. (This Drake Wood-Is he that powerful?) I asked myself before turning to the guy holding my waist tightly.
"Don't look at me!" Before I could even see Drake's face, he turned me away from him.
"Drake, you already know what will happen once you shift into your wolf! That little girl you wanted to protect will also be in danger!" Jake state. The doubt in Drake's eyes is visible; that's why he took advantage of it.
Drake sighed and smiled. " I don't need to change into my wolf's form to destroy the rest of you..." he remarks while bringing out his claws.
My eyes widened, and I abruptly stopped him. "You're up against a swarm of vampires and wolves on your own! Do you want to die?" The hand that I was using to hold Drake was trembling. The only thing I wish to accomplish is to get away from this location, and in order to do that, I need Drake Wood's assistance.
