"I haven't felt this good in a long time..."
In the distance, the stream is rimmed with ice, the sound of water tinkling down can still be heard.
Nearby, the horse lowers its head to graze for new shoots on the grass, and Yi Yi is pulling grass everywhere to feed the horse.
Sitting cross-legged on the grass, Rui Xi let out a long sigh and, filled with gratitude, looked at Ye Wan and said, "Ye Wan, thank you!"
Forgot that Yi Yi couldn't speak.
Also forgot that she was a mother with a heart full of torment.
At this moment, all Rui Xi could see was the beauty in front of her and her adorable daughter, forgetting those unpleasant truths.
Like an ostrich, burying her head to forget the pain and the joy of escaping reality, even if just for a brief moment, something that hadn't happened in the past three years.
And this, was what meeting Ye Wan for the first time brought her.
"Sister Rui, don't be so formal..."
