Early the next morning, after we had had our morning breakfast and Lady D'Arcon had cast a few spells on Anput and I, we all gathered around the base of our plateau and began to mark out the area that we would carve out for this structure.
It would be a large area, one that would become a focal point of the city going forwards and a piece that should bring pride to all who live here; it was a symbol from the Empress and a beacon of our might and future...
Or whatever other flowery words you wanted to throw at it; really we were just making a park with a central gazebo that happened to hold a Ritual Circle capable of immediate transport between many different parts of the Empire, but... it sounded better when you called it a symbol and whatnot.
